Good morning!!!!

Started early on the tractor since I had been up since 2.30 am. Got lots of rubbish, dead trees and large rocks shifted and then a hydraulic hose on the FEL blew. Missed me thank goodness. Took hose to town and can't get metric fittings till tomorrow. grrrr. Time to have a break.
Gotta take Spike to vet this pm for a follow up check.
Ordered 4 more windows and a slider door for the house. Already had 3 windows on order. That'll do for today.
Daughter took a pic of me in the Mustang when I went to see her yesterday. First pic anyone has taken of me in it. Shoulda had a shave... View attachment 715758
I thought for a brief moment, that you were in the passenger seat and you were going to let your daughter drive....
Poured first cup of coffee. 62° with fog this morning. Heading to 70° with mostly cloudy skies. Had good visit with Aunt who lives in VA. PT is working. Back is slowly getting better. No plans for today.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.
Glad your back is getting better Ron.
I just deleted a long reply I typed about the current cases in my circle of friends, co-workers, and acquaintance. It isn’t pretty and likely too controversial. So it is gone…..

The delivery went ok. Made great time getting there, they were just unloading the machine when we arrived. Mostly a boring day doing the PDI. I had to do the MSHA training for the mine personnel for new equipment. Mine manager was even civil. It went to work and was time to head home.

Figured how to bring the bike to life. Already made some changes to the shift linkage but more are needed. My standards for how things should be on a race bike kicked in and work needs to be done. Found out the guy I help is racing the Hooligans support class at Charlotte this weekend.

Everyone stay safe out there
What number is your "hooligan" ? Hope he's on the show.

Beautiful day shaping up here in the piney woods of East Texas!

Maybe some buy that “they just don’t capture that data”. But, to me that is BS. With the government‘s track record on accurate data they just don’t have a lot of credibility with a lot of people.

At the beginning of the pandemic we quickly realized that every person who died ‘with’ Covid-19 was being counted as a death “from” Covid. Now with the breakthrough cases and being forced to admit that the best you can hope for from a Vaxx is that you might avoid the hospital when you get the virus, they are forced to release info breaking out some of the Vaxxed vs non-Vaxxed numbers yet they still claim they don’t have the full data. Seriously?

Now we have a documented case of another death due to the Vaxx. That of a mom who did not want the Vaxx but got it simply to be allowed to be the Room Mom at her daughter’s elementary school classroom. Healthy before the Vaxx. Got it and soon died. Her obitu named the reaction related to the Vaxx that killed her.

I hope everyone has a safe, healthy, prosperous day!

55° right now...high, about 70.

Hopefully, it'll dry out enough today to start mowing the lawn and mulching what leaves have fallen.

Things getting somewhat back to normal. Margeaux visited wifey yesterday, and that made both happy, and I let her (Margeaux) sleep in my room over my stepdaughter's initial protests. Stepdaughter is a cat lady (cat's are cool, though) and she doesn't understand a dog's emotinal needs. In my experience, when a dog bonds, they really bond!
Wifey's still asleep, Margeaux is dozing in the chair she now owns...all is not great, but pretty good

Coffee is done brewing. 58° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 74° with sun and clouds. Yesterday was one of those gloomy days. Never rained. But felt like it was. Did not get anything done. Going to get Flu shot today. Plus trip to Menards. Need to clean up rest of the shop.

good morning all
62 going up to 72 today in sun and clouds.
9am zoom meeting, then off to church to sand and finish that post repair I did last week.
Then back home waiting for JD dealer to pick up mower, take it back and install power bagger that was not
in stock for last six months. I've had that belt driven bagger before on an earlier JD and pain to install but works
very well. Sure beats raking and I'll use the ground leaves as compost.
Two parts, unpowered twin bag assembly and this belt driven blower that mounts on deck. All that weight out on the one side is why
the whole thing has to be releveled after install.

Then tonight another long school board meeting, at least by zoom so I don't have to dodge the deer driving home.
Meetings actually are an hour shorter than last time I was on this board, as they do a consent agenda where it is expected everyone
has read the minutes and responded to them before the Meeting. So all we need to do is get a brief update and talk about new issues.

Hoping to plan a trip down to NC end of this month.

68 outside this AM. Mid 70's today. Chance of rain. Yesterday, all the rain missed up. Don't think will be as lucky today. Leaves are starting to really come down. Some of my hackberry trees are already bare. Guess I was not paying attention.

Will be an inside maintenance type of day.

Hope all do well today. Be careful, stay safe.

70 going to 74 and probably a shower...we got a good t-storm yesterday...0.4 inches. New roof liked it.

Good to hear Suzette and Margeaux had some time together. Dogs are healers.

Mostly, hope you get the gopher.

Roasted a new coffee yesterday, and couldn't wait to sample it...very tasty.

Out of how many doses? How does that compare to flu or other vaccines? Raw data with no relative comparison doesn’t tell much.
No vaccine is perfect, you’re playing the odds.

Good Morning.
It’s 61 and supposed to make it to 72 with mostly cloudy skies, but little chance of rain. Yesterday was gloomy all day, but no measurable rain, just a mist in the air.

Yesterday, I had breakfast with a friend, then got to work in the shop before I had to get cleaned up and head to the airport. Trip went well, but we never saw the ground except for taking off and landing. Passengers were early for the return trip, which is always a bonus, and let us see a pretty sunset from above the clouds.

Today, will be back in the shop, I hope to get all the woodwork finished on the speaker today.

Morning all, grey again, too wet for most work.

Roy, looks like wife and dog getting to a better place.

Stay safe and be well

Good morning! 54˚F heading to the upper 80s. Clear skies.

Roy looks like your wife and dog are therapy for each other.

Got diesel and filled the tractor yesterday and got in some seat time. I can get used to the concept of saving the receipt and getting a 100% refund.

Working on house gutter to yard drainage pipe today.

Our garden club Harvest dinner is catered by a BBQ place. At the meeting it was brought up about the people in their new "Plant Based" SIG are being left out. Changes are coming. The BBQ place said they can accommodate but I have my doubts.

Some mornings the sheep run away from me, other days they hold their ground and give me the "Who are ewe looking at ?" stare

I still can't see how you can drive it sitting on the wrong side. ;)
Alien, I reckon your steering wheel is perfectly positioned (just like mine !). Wng is just reluctant to admit that he is "alternatively orientated" ? ;)

64°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 73° today with rain expected much of the day. Drizzle falling in North St. Louis city right now.

The Wife started decorating for Halloween yesterday. We now have a skulls and roses tablecloth on the kitchen table, and a weird Tim Burton-esque cloth on the table in the sunroom. I'm kind of "meh" about the whole decorating thing, but she loves doing it.

Hope your wife heals quickly, Roy.
