Oklahoma, for instance, reached its record of 120 degrees four times and in three different locations in the summer of 1936.
The Pacific Northwest and the Midwest also have numerous states with records over 115 degrees. For example, the hottest temperature recorded in Oregon is 119 degrees which was set twice in 1898, once on July 29 in Prineville and then on August 10 in Pendleton. They mention climate change every chance they get in bot weather and other related news stories...What they NEVER do is make simple suggestions to what the average person can do...they always want to bring up the (supposed) cause and effects without ever suggesting solutions...

The media's job isn't to make suggestions; rather, it's to report the news. Yet if the main agenda really is to combat CC, whether real or imagined, there are other less controversial things which could be implemented without pushback.

New's job is to report, not make suggestions. They report the story. You come up with your own opinion.

The problem with many people today is that they call editorials news. They are not the same thing.

Packaging opinion disguised as news is a big money making machine. Look at NBCNEWS.COM, a fairly reputable site. It has opinion pieces jumbled in with news such that it is difficult to sort out which is which. Their opinion pieces are in the general category "Think" but that is a word that is easily overlooked, or not understood by who is looking at it.

NBC is only one of many. Pretty much they all disguise opinion as fact pieces.

And again...sure you hear about the things you cited but never in the same breath (or story, article etc.)...
