Good evening, it has been a great day here to do anything that requires a bit of manual effort, lots of thick cloud to keep the sun away.
I have been chain sawing alder and silver birch that was felled in the wetland last year. This is the first time it has been dry enough to get in there without waders. Lush grass had grown over most of it, making it harder work than it would be in winter, but at least the timber is out now.
