I'm on Win7 too, and will stay on it until it no longer functions, like if MS finds a way to send an update that breaks it. If that happens, I'll move to one of the Linux flavors, there are lots of choices. Would NEVER go to a Mac, I like to decide what is best for me.
At this point I have Win7 working perfectly, never a hiccup or glitch, and it does what I want it to do. I do a restart every week or two, just to clean up any memory leaks or other problems.
I Would like to move up to a Ryzen machine, but the Win7 installation doesn't load motherboard drivers for the keyboard or mouse, so you can't run the install. Would like to find a workaround for that.
