two hours of scraping black iron railing and repainting in hot sun. 85 degrees and I'm soaked.
But better today than tomorrow.
Job done, should have realized I'd have to do a lot of scraping and then ran 100 grit over everything.
had to blue tape the house where railing attached, waiting for that to dry. Every time I try to take blue tape
off too early I usually get paint somewhere I don't want.
Just keeping the landlord happy.

PT went well, she's using some electroshock gizmo that makes my skin crawl but that in conjunction with ice at the end sends me
out of there feeling much better. Pain comes back of course but tiny bit of improvement each day.

It's a beautiful summer day. Except for the annoying cicadas. They fly right into me, maybe thinking I'm a moving tree?
Drew, so Helga had you scrape her black iron railings before she put the cold pack on you? LOL.

I started out to the barn to see what kind of grease I got.
Got taillight off the trailer, battery sawzal ran down, went and got power cord one. Cut the bolts where old plastic license holder was behind light fixture. One wire was broken.

Ordered new LED lights. Anyone have recommended ones for a trailer? So many, and can’t trust reviews.
Decided to stop early and enjoy the sunset.

And I forgot to see what type of grease I have.

74F with a DP of 68 @ 21:30 so a bit sticky/muggy, headed down to a low of 68F in the overnight. No further rain materialized, did not hit predicted high (80F), high temp only 78F. A stray show or thunder storm still possible.

Inside day also did not materialize, other than putting away some clean dishes that were in the drying rack ... will try again tomorrow.

Crows, bluejay, and squirrels out back at feeder:

Put out 12 meal worms each front and back, refilled suet feeder in back. Need to refill hopper feeder.

Things were pretty much dry when I got out there ... so I mowed the upper front and compost/wood lot.

Hauled some trash and recycle bin up to the cans at the road, collected today's mail.

Collected up 4 buckets from in front and took them around back to wash out. Grabbed 50' Flexzilla hose on way back and took it as well, dragged the 100' hose off the lawn in preparation for mowing around house tomorrow.

Washed out buckets and a trash can and brought them back up and put them away in the garage.

House sparrow in trap still alive, just got back from covering the trap.

Moved two more pallets from down here at the house up to the pile of split oak in compost/wood lot.

Stuff that I sprayed yesterday is already showing signs of kill ... (y)

Took FS 66 with cultivator head up to work on hosta bed on north side of shop. Noticed that the blades looked to be backwards so I swapped them around. Not sure how long they have been like that, but it works a lot better now ... ;)

Also cultivated new bed for hosta around maple tree.

Was doing that when The Woman pulled in with some pulled pork for dinner (and a peanut butter milkshake ... (y)) ... so I knocked off and headed down to house.

Not much on agenda for this evening, except shave my mug and grab a shower.

Hope everyone had a great day.

Jimmy Dean is special, he’s been dead eleven years and still does his own commercials.
He sold the Jimmy Dean Sausage company that he had for 15 years to Sara Lee Corp. in 1984.
Sara Lee, the Chicago-based company, let him go as spokesman in 2003. He claimed he was dumped because he got old and they were trying to appeal to young housewives.
He died in 2010 at his home sitting in front of his TV eating at the age of 81.
