Tractor
Bobcat CT4045
Tractor newbie here and I didn't tighten down the locking nut on my left check link arm (this is on a CT4045). Predictably, things got loose and I lost the turnbuckle. I can't get a replacement online, dealer is what I am finding your typical Bobact dealer and isn't very helpful beyond telling me its out of stock. The part in question is 7379628. Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement?

Is it proprietary? Should be able to just get another one the proper length.

I am probably the only one that doesn't know what the left check link turnbuckle is?

#9 is what I need. I called it a check link because that's what bobcat calls it. As to it being proprietary, I don't know. I bought what tractor supply had and it doesn't fit. Stuff I've seen online looks either incompatible or flimsy. Ideally I would buy the real thing but this is not currently possible.

Depending on your tractor's age, Bobcat sold rebadged and painted Kioti built machines. You might try a Kioti dealer for the turnbuckle.

Amazon has 22 pages of them. Some are stainless steel. You might look there too.

If your a collector of junk like me and like to tinker make your own/ had some cheap old binders laying around works great on a 30+ year old working tractor.

I've always heard them called - 3-point arm turnbuckle. I'll guess that they ARE a proprietary item. If you had the exact part number you MIGHT find the correct one amongst the many on Amazon. Otherwise - make one up out of what you can find at the local hardware store. Order a complete new replacement unit from your dealer - and wait, wait, etc.

Couple eye bolts, some chain & a turnbuckle.
Seems pretty easy to me.

Made a pair for my Ford 2N that way.
They work just fine.
