Were you alive in 2008? Bernie Madoff was the only thief who went to jail, and that was only because he stole from rich people. White collar crime is rarely charged, and if it is charged it will be negotiated out and never go to trial.

Admittedly it has been awhile but I have personally been involved in multiple cases in Harris County and other counties in Texas where some big name people as well as normal run-of-the-mill crooks were indicted, tried, convicted and sent to prison for white collar crimes. State level as well as Federal prosecutions. I am aware of many cases still being made and prosecuted today.

It's easy to massage data to "prove" anything you want. Your example is just, "Hey, your dead one doesn't count as much as my dead one because you had more live ones to start with." It's straight racist propaganda.

When you encounter ANY statistic, promoted for political purposes, you have to do a thorough analysis. If they start selecting data in any way, you know it's a lie.

I think our whole country has an epidemic of moral decay. The golden rule is not in the least understood by a large percentage of the population. There are many Christians (even devout ones) who are Christian in name only and not in actions. There is widespread polarity and unacceptance (even hatred) of anyone who disagrees with you. The political stance of many people is don't burden me with doing anything that helps others. It is one's own responsibility to help themselves, even if they are unable to (i.e. the extreme lack of mental health assistance). The result is extreme frustration that ends up in people going postal.

An excellent observation I agree 100%.
God is truly missing in our lives. It has been replaced by the hand held supercomputer (I-phone, cell phone).
Once, God was the answer and had all the answers. Today, people look to the internet for the answers.

Your attempt to call me a “liar“ is breathtakingly disingenuous. The FBI statistics are quoted in the link to the article I provided and they are in her book.

Painting a huge group of people like Evangelical Christians in a negative way with a broad brush like that is beyond ridiculous and shameful.
Evangelical Christians are mostly good people, just like any other religious group.
