Even though we've never had babies in our house, after we bought our place around 2004 and getting into local "rescue" work, we've had baby gates in our house.

Still have them, and they work well unless the cat get stupid...

We started looking for gates after we have to get one of our first cats out of the chimney. Fun times.

Ironically enough, the cat in the pic was found by my wife and I on a walk exactly where my wife found the small black dog below on the side of the road down from the house.

If I played tug of war with some of the bigger dogs, I'd loose my teeth LOL

I want a dog that has an income. Do they pay taxes in it?

Per the law, dogs are personal property. If you're lucky enough to have a dog that earns income, one could argue the dog is smarter because you'll pay any taxes and the dog won't

Unless things have changed, generally you don't make a dime for winning any dog shows. Where you make the money is breeding and sponsorships.

For myself, the AKC is nothing more than a money making racket per "blood lines" and the price associated spending BIG bucks on puppies.

It was a great day today so we walked to the river. Our property line goes to the middle of the river as far as you can see.

Yes. Smaller boats with outboards can navigate.

The Dogs Pics threads is by far one of my favorite threads... even though I've only shared on it a few time.... My wife is thinking of starting a Instagram page for our youngest Brodie... The many face of Brodie... He was our rescue & as much of a challenge he has been (& continues to be), he make us laugh everyday...
