Went to Catoctin National park. Hiked up almost to wolf rock, wanted to go to chimney rock. Normally an easy hike. I’m sore this morning.

I got song leading at worship. Wife wants me to grill burgers for lunch.

Gettin' there, Bruce. Looks like I'll finish off the last of the bucked wood with the next pallet, and there's room for another half dozen pallets in the container. There's enough downed trees already in the wood yard to fill those up. Haven't even touched all the standing dead wood yet. Lord help me, but I'm thinkin' of ordering another container...

Good morning, the sun and shining and all is well.

Despite the relatively warm temperatures, grass seems slow to grow. Must either be down to cold soil - or maybe Chester zoo is missing a hippo.

Half of the UK adult population have now received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine. Even so we are still in lockdown, all non essential shops still closed, no visits with family and friends or eating out. Restrictions are due to start being lifted next month.

We found the restrictions had little to no effect but distancing and masks seem to have worked.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Neighbor mile from said he thinks bear tracks around his barn,just matter of time now.
Plans for today...Find bear bars remove Mrs. hard candy from pickup and put up windchimes,might try cleaning up more lims/branches this afternoon,watch some nascar while grilling,other than that soak in warm weather.

I find my $20 a month for trash pickup to be a bargain. I used to get twice a week, now once. They don’t take appliances, but I have disposed of mattresses a bag at a time, just a lot of wire cutting.

Good morning, 32 now and going to 54°F. Wind SW 7 mph. Sunny!

Overnight lows mid 30s to low 40s, for four nights then back below freezing again overnight.

I am going to attempt to dig out the back hoe today. That ought to be a treat. Note to self: Never leave the BH outside over winter.
I either need another garage or one less vehicle. I have been looking at maybe a 20' C-can. It would be for the wood conveyor, rock bucket and the genny. Maybe the hoe would fit in there too. The hoe is first on in the spring and last off just before the snow flies and after the wood has been dealt with.
I cant do anything about it until all the snow is gone, that wont be anytime before May.

We pay $77 for three months with all the fees. I live a mile from the dump, but...

Cigar was dirt roads were in good shape we counted 46 deer feeding south side of fields couple miles...by the looks deer had mild winter fingers cross good year for fawns,Mrs. got hungry so ride was cut little short.

I think people need to recognize that when we complain about electric bills or gas prices, we are just letting off steam, nobody really cares who is to blame, we just want it better, human nature at it’s best. We don’t need, nor do we want long dissertations with notations, we just want to vent. We don’t care if one person thinks it’s X’s fault and another Y’s, we just want o keep our money for toys!

While I agree we want to maximize our toy budget, Randy, I really do care who is to blame. People need to be held accountable for their actions, both good and bad. That's the only way we can continue to evolve as a society.
