Kubota ZD21

I am having issues starting my Kubota ZD21. It will only start if I hook a high voltage jump starter to it. Any ideas??

How is you battery, how old, have you load tested it?

Battery is new fully charged

If you have a meter, what is your voltage at the starter? Check it with the key off and then with with the key in the start position. How does that voltage compare to your voltage at the battery? We are checking for bad connections or a bad cable. My ZD has had a new positive cable and then did the "low voltage relay" mod due to poor voltage at the start solenoid because of safety switch resistance.

Battery is new fully charged

Never assume a new fully charged battery functions at capacity under a load.
Load test the battery
Check all connections, clean and good contact at every connection
It is no common but also happens often enough to be worth checking if the cables are providing sufficient amperage and voltage, I have seen many that corrode under insulation. Seems to be a bigger issue with lower quality metal in wires in more recent years.
