43F and raining @ 13:00, headed up to a high of 46 for the day. Already over 1/2" of rain, prediction was for 1/4" ... no complaints on the rain though - we needed it.

Only downside is they are calling for it be windy, with gusts up to 30 - 50 mph.

Mostly fishy stuff yesterday, but helped on the household cleanup as well. More to do on that today.

Need to get o-ring installed on canister filter and get it back in operation on tank in living room.

Also dustcover replaced on bottom of couch.

Need to pick up small order from Cuyahoga Falls Menards which is ready.

Probably a good day for paperwork sorting and filing as well.

First thing I thought of when I saw that pile of rocks was snakes. Will they be left in a pile like that, or will they outline the trail borders, or be put to some other use?

Scorpions: My favorite. Cooking them destroys the venom, so don’t worry. A scorpion tastes like really good beef jerky. A scorpion also has a slight fishy taste. These can be consumed fried, roasted, grilled, or live(!). Live scorpions are usually eaten with their stingers cut off and dunked in some sort of wine.

As for concrete, we know about wx delays. When we built our house the 1st 2 slabs were poured end of Jan, the 2nd 2 May rescheduled 4 times.

Yes that is what I read, but I also read:

Apparently they were friends and I doubt he just made that up.

It comes down to which one do you believe?

I had a sore arm and felt draggy the second day after my first shot, if I’d had a heart attack it could be said I died while fighting the after effects of the vaccine and it would be true. But the vaccine would not be the cause.
Too many people that are afraid of, or just don’t want the vaccine are promoting false narratives.

Yes, the pics are from the new SE. The rocks will be picked up this afternoon by the after lunch crew and use to line the trail to keep the mulch in.

You can see a hole right above the scorpions. That is their nest. About 6 scampered into that hole and I was just fast enough with the phone to get a pic of the last two before they disappeared into it also. They did not have to be worried about being eaten by me, I'm plant-based.

One does not have to be afraid in order to delay taking new vaccine which was rushed through in all time record, and you take 100% of the risk. Everyone else involved apparently takes 0 risk!

I had my second shot three weeks ago and no reaction to it. First was very mild.
I wasn’t saying you’re afraid, I don’t know you, I was just expressing my opinion on those that try and dissuade others. You are correct, to each his own. Very personal decision.
