I keep waiting for him to show an old blue Homelite. I gave both of mine away years ago when I bought my first saw with a chain brake... I sure wish that I hadn't.!

I am waiting for an old green and red homie.

Neighbor in MA had one of those McCullough, think with a 48" on it.
I could barely lift it off the ground. He lifted it onto his shoulder like a toy.
He did work as a lumberjack though. He also had a few two man saws, now that's a workout!

Do you mean powered saws, or the old two man crosscut? I have one of the latter... it's a nice ornament in my shed.

Or maybe a big yellow McCullough. You had to be a real man just to carry that one into the woods!

I was offered several homies in trade in red. I just wont take those in unless certain ones.

Knock on wood the only issue with this saw so far has been the AV is weak and it would be fine for a short bar but running a 32 or 36 they’re floppy.

There is a fix out there for the weak av's for running longer bars. Guy I know on FB came up with them. I'll find link in a sec

Which red? Because I been turning those down in trade. Only certain ones I will even take in to flip. Same with Mac's.

Green I know what moves on those. Bet you want ones I already took in and flipped to friends.

Gordy’s setup is in there now but otherwise like I said otherwise it’s been a trouble free saw.

I would like you to Post a pic of your parts washer. I bet it stays busy.
Yep it would make it easier. But I dont use one.

Just old fashion elbow grease. Scraping, air and sometimes wd40 degreaser.

It's a chainsaw a tool, not out to win any beauty contest here.

2 tone getting ready to be done next. Last owner looks like he would put her up as used each day.
