The best about the video for me was that melody he spliced in some how, so relaxing I could listen to it all night. So if anyone in SC that has a drone and can figure out how to make a scenery video with that song, it will go on my play list ASAP, the secret is Delicate Attention.................. #DJIMAVICAIR DJI Mavic Air zonsondergang Woerden - YouTube

So, what chainsaw "chain" do you guys like? I use mostly Oregon, but I'm starting to use the NEW Husqvarna chains too...

Here's a chainsaw chain, test,

Which Chainsaw Chain Brand is Best? Let's find out! Stihl vs Oregon, Husqvarna, Carlton, Forester - YouTube

I have been using Oregon chains for 40 years, chisel and non-chisel. Picked up a Stihl saw a few years ago and have been impressed with how well that chain cuts. I also think I need to up my game for a chain sharpener for what ever chain I am using.

Easiest way to load firewood on the back porch.

Even easier would be to have a section of railing that retracts or swings out of the way like a gate. Use forks, use a pallet with sides. Fill pallet, fork to porch, open gate, place pallet on deck, shut gate. No need to hand stack FEL or onto porch.

All my wood is stacked when stored and never touched again until I put it in a log carrier and carry it to the insert.

Stihl chain is good, but it's harder to sharpen and cost twice (or more) as much!

One Stihl chain will NOT live longer than two Oregon chains, so I buy Oregon, although I did buy some of the new Husqvarna chain this last time.

But, it's too early to say how long it will last.

I think part of the reason why the Stihl cuts so well is the way it was sharpened in a jig by the dealer rather than by hand which is the way I have been doing it for 40 years. Hence the comment about needing to up my sharpening game. From a value point of view, Oregon is hard to beat and what I will buy next. But I will be interested to hear how you like the Husky chain over time.

I'm just the occasional cutter and Oregon works for me as well, normally have it at my local TSC..

Hmmm, occasional cutter, why do I have 5 chain saws???

Good video. I like his work, generally well thoughtout comparison tests.

I use Stihl semi-chisel for mostly clean pine, maple, some oak and related brush clearing, although as Mr. SawyerRob points out, Stihl is $ure proud of them.

Maybe a year ago, I read on a web forum somewhere (so it must be true!) that recently purchased Oregon chains seemed to be needing more frequent sharpenings, vs Oregon chains from the past.

I would gladly use the less expensive Oregon if I didn't need to stop and sharpen after every other tank of gas.

Any views on recent changes in their "stay sharp" performance or quality?
