let me ask a question here. If the item is back ordered as stated, your dealership still needs to actually put in an order to get in a queue for shipping. Do you know if they did that?

I was told last Friday (02/22/2021) they had located a tank (TYM - same part number) and was working to get it shipped. I have no idea where it stands at this point in time. My assumption is that they have ordered at least one tank. They pulled a tank from another tractor (same part number) and found the same issue.

Call their parts guy directly as he is in charge of ordered items. See if a p.o. number has actually been generated.

I’ve been in contact with the owner...waiting on their parts person. If contact isn’t made by Monday at noon I’ll be calling. If this is the service I can expect (it’s been this way throughout the ordeal) I believe I’ll pursue the alternate course of action as my time is better spent making income rather than chasing down a parts person several time a week.

I totally agree. My patience is running very thin with this dealership. I might simply turn this matter over to the professionals Monday...have yet to decide.

I believe I’ll wait until Monday to make any decisions on bringing in a third part to handle this case. I’d like to get an update from the dealership and give them the opportunity to provide a fix.

Monday will be the decision maker. I’m assuming, my assumption could be wrong, this dealership isn’t simply going to provide a full refund or a swap to a different model which doesn’t exhibit this issue thus it will probably be a drawn out ordeal. If Monday doesn’t pan out I’ll turn this over to the professionals and let them run with it rather than continue to represent myself.
