I had a guy who worked for me that had explain everything starting with how he made coffee that day.

I continually asked him to explain in 20 words or less, I eventually fired him due to lack of productivity.

We had someone like that. To make it worse, he was in IT, so 3/4 what he said was not understandable to 90% of the people he was talking to. But that's not why we let him go.
