2009 rtv 900 cold start

Yes, it energizes to shut fuel off. I figured it out. It is the solenoid itself that is sticking. The rubber boot is torn completely right before the rod projects and I spray a little pb blasted inside and now it works perfectly. I ordered a new solenoid that should be Tuesday. Thank you all for your input!

The PB will keep it working quite a while. Had same issue with a ZD21 a year or two ago - I'll wait until the solenoid quits completely before replacing.

I will change it tomorrow because I believe in preventive maintenance. It is winter. I do not want to have it fail out in the woods

Keep the old one though. A cheap aftermarket one may not last long if that is what you bought.
