Could have been like that Hawaiin (sp?) airlines 737 where the cabin roof flew off. That trip had nothing to do with the failure, but thousands of presurization/depressurization cycles that did it.

What's the matter with you guys?

It is very clear an asteroid hit the trailer just in front of the axles which caused the failure. If the driver had spent one minute less drinking coffee that morning he would have been further down the road so the asteroid would have missed hitting the trailer so it is the drivers fault.

It would not have mattered,, the asteroid would have simply hit the NEXT truck,,

and we would have been looking at the picture of the next truck,,

If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times. Diesels need to have a coffee particulate filters to get rid of these dangerous chemicals in the cabs of trucks and save the environment.

Yes but glad I bought my coffee maker before the mandates took affect, I see nothing but problems down the road !

That WAS the next truck. The truck before is the one where the driver skipped his coffee to miss the asteroid!

I just noticed the title of the incident, I didnt know they made concrete joint backer rod out of steel!
