Most of the 4 door pickup owners here all have the short beds... and they all tow a lot for a living...

The cargo is in the trailer and they need the grunt to pull it and having a backseat may or may not be needed for passengers but good to have to lock up things which can't do with an open bed...

Those are a real rarity nowadays. Haven’t seen one on the roads in at least 25 years.

I know the last one I was in was 50+ years ago, my BIL bought one for his 68 Ford.

Kinda strange that the LANCE 1172 TRUCK CAMPER wasn't shown on the so called supper duty, probably only a Dodge Power Wagon is capable of hauling that camper.........
