Good morning!!!!

Walking around the property today I noticed in back I have a large crop of wild onions and wild garlic, they’re great in soups and chili, stronger than cultivated ones, I’m not sure they’re worth the effort to collect though. Skunks dig up the onions but not the garlic, maybe they’re afraid it will cause bad breath.
Fueled the MF and then
cleaned up three old stumps and some limbs that had fallen in the wind the other day then filled an old stump depression in the far backyard. I reseeded the area and with the warm weather should get germination this fall.

RNG, think you are right. I need to review the CrossTalk videos.

Eric, very informative. I as recall when I lived in Germany many moons ago, corn was considered more livestock feed, not people food.

Rip, more the lack over skill on my part and piecemeal efforts. Hoping my upgrade borders on overkill. My house walls are all double clad concrete and roof is steel clad in and out. Fortunately some signal escapes via the windows.

Drew, comfort height is only way to go. 🤙🤙🤙

Great pics as usual Ron. I’m gonna guess you have a far better signal. Any day I see double digits (high teens/low 20’s) is a good day.

Ken, quality of help questionable. Makani did decide to christen the floor though.

David, glad your getting ahead on the caretaker quarters.... I might have to borrow it sometime.....

And when you do I have a stack of ohia planks waiting to be turned into countertop.

Yes, stiff in the arms and shoulders from the long handled brush, but not in the legs...in fact I was planning on going to the mountains to climb Hightop Peak, but the fog is so thick, I couldn't find my truck earlier. So, more window washing, and I may look around and find a nap.

Warming up to 77 today, but they say the fog could linger until 11am.

Around here, we eat "corn" and the cows eat "silage." Indian corn is used for decorations.

I might try the skyline drive on Friday.

My other sister may have been exposed to Covid at church Sunday in ohio, visitor with no mask was coughing and later tested positive.

Worked from home today. Nice to get done at 5 and commute to the lazy boy.
Beautiful day. Latest pic of the sugar maples.

Looks like you have your own Skyline Drive with those maples. Fridays can be a busy day during October...leave early if you can.
