Same thing you won last time, because it's not willow... lol

BTW, my buddy pulled this load,

over a certified scale. The truck is a one ton dually Cummins powered 2wd truck, manual tranny. The trailer is 24', tandem duals. wood floor/metal beaver tail, goose neck, and it was all too long to get it all on the scale at the same time.

SO, the front axle and 5' of the cab was off the scale, and the weight ticket came in at #18,200 something. So, a pretty good load of logs...

Yes I win, it was 1-1/2 cord:cool2:

We don't have it up here, unless it's on somebody's front lawn.
The first time that I saw it was down in Vermont, I had to go back and redo 2 days work. Butternut and hickory looked like ash to me.

Back in ancient times (when I was a kid) I use to pick the butternuts up, and carry them about 70' over to a walnut and sit on a rock there, cracking the nuts from both on another rock that was flat and feast on them.

If dad wasn't around, I'd go over to a salt block that was out for the cattle (this was a pasture them days) and chip off a piece to eat with the nuts. lol

Did that big rock let you know you pushing a big rock? You should've told me this past summer you needed to get the rust off your dozer........

It is smallish. 70 hp, 14,500 lbs, 7-1/2 foot blade but it can push. Rocks like that are not a problem. And they are easy to find.

Ya, you definitely could have used it last summer on your road/bridge project. Would have made things much easier on you and your tractor. I wanted to drive it over to help you out but I had it taken apart to fix a hydraulic leak that I could hardly get at. It's over 30 years old and I spend as much, or more because I'm slow, time wrenching as I do operating. Every one has a toy like that I think.

Its the thought that counts..... Those size rocks really are hard on small tractors.
