I don’t like either route option, 81 is usually a rolling road block, 95 is an 80 mph demolition derby.

80 mph? When did it slow down from 90-100 mph?

Don’t think I ever had spam or scrapple and know I haven’t had pork roll. Growing up on the farm we butchered our own hogs and canned sausage. Sausage doesn’t last long frozen, it changes the flavor. We also smoked our hams.

Something has dug our our crocuses and other bulbs, we think it’s squirrels. Wife is pretty pizzed, never had this happen before.

Ron, nice barn pic.
I forgot to take my drone this weekend, would have loved to have gotten me working on the BX.

Sorry I've been delinquent here guys.

Well I sold the 51 acre MossFlower last Friday and I've been living here at New MossFlower since the 19th. But it has been backbreaking in more ways than one with demands from buyers, packing, moving, cleaning, etc.... Also last minute catastrophes etc.

I am beaten, bruised, exhausted, sore & stiff...

I will post some of the best parts of the story on my moving MossFlower thread. Mostly I was too busy to take pictures...

I've been joking that the next time I need to move, I'm hiring Arsonists not movers...

Be well all,
David

The Osprey has been in use for over twenty years, faster computers and better training have fixed most issues with them. It’s a good air frame.

I'm like PJ, don't particularly care to fly in an Osprey...In fact, I'd join a different branch...It's that bad to me.

81F clear sky and taste of summer...again. :(

Been good day got everything I wanted to done and little bit more.
With in sight seeing distance of swamp edge this morning I wasn't paying attention all of sudden cow moose came to her feet ear back and hard stare about 25 yards  I quickly got behind large hemlock tree did the waiting game, good 15 mins. she slowly walk away with her calf...whew,moose bull starting make there urine pits going to get real interesting soon.
Not much plan for this evening, might even take slowly country ride enjoy smooth cigar.

Enjoy your evening all.

Glad you didn't get moose rolled. whew!

Good evening! 55˚F this morning hitting 88˚F and sunny this afternoon. Took my Mom to her sister's child's funeral. Risky but she had to go. Face mask were worn and every other church pew was blocked off. Being a pallbearer 4' was the most I could space out and still handle the coffin.

Back at Mom's the last hay cutting of the season was just starting up. This was his first lap of cutting today.

Notice the straight "Texas" line Eric. (He did not have a church to line up with.)

Don, sorry about your cousin. I thought there was a church over there to line up on? I guess that's the other property in Fedor.

Good evening. Having some very nice early fall days in Ohio.

Been a busy week this week. Made 2 separate trips to underground mines in PA this week. Likely be back to one or both next week. One is unnecessary, but the engine dealer is acting like a moron and shirking their responsibility.

Got some seat time tonight when I got home. Had to break ground to dig a grave for our old turkey. My wife hatched him in an incubator about 15 years ago. Bo never liked me, but was her best buddy. He always tried to stay between her and other people and animals. We have lots of Bo stories, he had a good life.

RIP Bo

Not sure what I will get into tomorrow, last race of the season is tomorrow locally. So I will be there. Hey Kyle....I had a very good chance of being at the AFT race next weekend in the pits. But by the time I got asked, I had about 2 hours to try to get a health screening to get approved for credentials and make arrangements to be off work. I ended up declining.

Everyone stay safe out there.

sorry about your wife's Bo, Sorry you didn't quite have the time to go AFT'ing.

60 going to 74 and rain ending. Got a good downpour last night and some lightning.

Rich, sorry about Bo...15 years sounds very senior for a turkey.

Mostly, Coco is showing steady improvement, and back to being a happy dog.

Lots of tree and field colors...looking like autumn is peeking out. Still have a straggler or two hummingbirds.

Oldest son came by after goose hunting last night to pick up some things to take to my BIL in North Carolina, including my late FIL's old Browning A5 I've been safeguarding. They are having a work day on the farm.

Not sure what I'll get into today since things are very wet. Hope your day is fine.

so glad to hear about Coco. Hope for continued improvement. I used to tease my buddy about his heavy A5, but it never missed a beat. Now, my Remingtons are much heavier than the modern Benellis and Berettas and such.

Just because Bo disliked me didn稚 mean it wasn稚 entertaining. We had 3 toms. We just had miserable luck with hens staying alive and staying around. We had one hen run off with a wild flock.

We have 2 younger turkeys. Tecumseh who is likely Boç—´ son and Whitey which I am not sure where he came from.

Whitey is our junk yard Turkey. He is always dirty and has no personality. For some time, he has sort of been in charge since he is the youngest.

Tecumseh likes people. He is friendly, will eat treats out of your fingers, and is pleasant to be around. When Bo was being aggressive because he didn稚 want me near my wife, the chase was on. Saw a lot of entertaining chases since Tecumseh had this attitude of he enemy of my enemy is my friend? Tecumseh would get between us and drive Bo off. And he would come back and expect a treat. He had it figured out.

Going to be interesting to see how the other 2 act now that Bo is gone

and good stories about the turkeys.

Nice day today with temps starting in the upper 50's and finishing up at 76. Starting to see some color around here.View attachment 671004
Not much planned for the weekend. Looks like a nice ride is in the cards for tomorrow.
Stay safe and healthy all!

Fantastic color!

Ron, I loved the stream pic. Darn good from a cell phone.

Son and I mowed on Saturday. Told him if he helped me good, I'd take him to do something cool..........

Mostly, I took my oldest and youngest out to hit a couple of buckets of balls. My 10 year old son's swing is so wild, I don't even know where to begin to coach him. He helped me fill in the divets on the driving range line.

My middle daughter with autism turned 13 on Sunday. I have to say she acted very good for the party. We had 2 sets of friends over, and the neighbor kids. Plenty of pizza and strawberry 4 layer cake with ice cream for all. Also, we busted a pinata, (I kept jerking it up and down, controlling the rope, making it hard for the kids to hit it)...

All in all, it was a busy weekend.

Thank you for the prayers. Daughter played in church again with the worship team. She's getting better each time.

Prayers for our team, and our country.

Moss, glad you've gotten over that hump for the most part.
