BMW Expands M Line to Motorcycles with the Powerfully Fast M 1 RR

RNG, double the price for fancy paint job and fairing, whoa
if each horse only has to carry two pounds, this must be a real rocket sled

thanks RS, it's a cottage, no more no less, in a very pretty location right across the street from township/police station on a quiet country road.

I get irked by all the safety cutouts on the tractors, too, Ted. Especially the one in the seat that trips when I work on a steep slope, or have to stomp on the diff lock. Doing either unweights the seat and kills the ignition. I haven't disabled it because I think it would be a good thing if the tractor stopped if I happened to leave the seat unexpectedly...

Mine does that too. I wonder if there is a way to make it less sensitive?

Chris

My Massey will only cut off if I stand completely off the seat and forget to disengage the PTO and put it in neutral

53°F and foggy this morning, going up to 80° today. For now, there is actually rain in the forecast for Monday. Hoping that stays true. We are bone dry here.

Randy, I have a friend I went to school with who recently retired from the Marines as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. He had been assigned to a desk job in DC, but decided he didn't want to sit at a desk for his last two years, and had himself assigned to a V-22 crew. I used to tease him that he was likely the only person on the planet flying in one of those contraptions on purpose. His stories of the constant problems with that thing are discouraging. On the bright side, he told of once when they were stranded at a small town airport somewhere after a failure forced them to land there. They waited almost a week-and-a-half for the replacement parts to get there. In the mean time, once the locals found out about their situation, they started making daily deliveries of home cooked meals for him and his crew. Hard not to like that.

Welcome to the GM thread, workinonit.

Buppies, my Wife's S&W Shield 9mm has a little takedown lever inside the ejection port just under the firing pin that has to be rotated out before removing the slide assembly. It's a PITA, and I almost always forget it's there, wondering why that infernal thing won't come off. "Clever" designs like that are just frustrating. You shouldn't need a tool to field strip a firearm for cleaning.

Glad you're finally getting some breathable air, RNG. That has to feel better.
I got notice a couple days ago that something I ordered last Friday is unavailable (website said they had 90 in stock), and it will take another 10 days to make one for me at the factory in China. I told them that's fine, as I'm in no hurry for it. I woke up this morning to find an email telling me it shipped early this morning. :confused2: Some companies seem to have no connection at all between left hand and right hand.

The Osprey has been in use for over twenty years, faster computers and better training have fixed most issues with them. It’s a good air frame.

Light rain and 68° with a very light SW breeze.
I’ve been a bit groggy so I haven’t done much today. Gotta make a drugstore run and pick up groceries from Walmart.
FAA is doing training today with one of their commuter sized jets, it’s done a dozen or so take offs, landings and touch & go’s.
Had leftover homemade ravioli for lunch. Not much action around here today.

That's a nice-looking little place, Drew. It looks just like the little house I rented in St. Jacob IL for eight years before I got married and moved where I am today. Even with a small pipe organ in the living room, it was more than enough room for one person. I had also moved there from a much bigger place, and honestly, I actually enjoyed downsizing. It can be very freeing.

I don't know about Texas but here in PA you have to follow the instructions exactly or they may throw out your vote. Mail early.
