Tractor
John Deere GT235, GT 275, 1025R
Looking for something reasonably priced - this is a backup lawn tractor that I am working on restoring (in part) for my son. I have Costco, BatteriesPlus, Walmart, and of course online ordering available.

Thanks!

I believe Strongbox batteries from my Deere dealer are reasonably priced.

In my opinion, the Walmart "Everstart Maxx" is the most bang for the buck, but I doubt they sell the "Maxx" in the small size you may need!
Lawn tractor batteries are generally cheap, and carry very short warranties (low quality).

Walmart lists several Group U1 L&G batteries from $25 to $40.

L&G batteries are just like automotive or ag batteries. There are cheap ones and there are good ones you have to pay for.

Personally, no matter what battery I own, I generally get 6 to 10 years out of them because I take care of them and buy the best. Anything I replace now gets an AGM replacement. Pricy, but they last and perform and tolerate storage without the need to be hooked to a maintenance charger. My motorcycle is going on 6 years as we speak!

Any $25 to $40 lawn tractor battery is cheap junk, with a replacement warranty of 6 months to 1 year max!
