My John Deere 750 Tractor keeps blowing the 10 amp indicator fuse when the ignition switch is turned on. My 60 inch mower deck blades stop turning when this fuse blows. I have disconnected the electric PTO clutch harness and the fuse still blows, also disconnected the seat safety switch, fuse still blows, disconnected the dash pto switch harness connection, still blows fuse. Can anyone help me find what is causing the 10 amp fuse to blow? Does anyone have a wiring schematic that shows the fuse panel circuitry? Thank you

The wiring on a 750 should be fairly simple. My guess is somewhere you have a wire that is grounding out. It may well be a royal pain to find.
I have a yanmar tractor and a basic wiring diagram (pretty generic, I think). Yanmar build your 750 for JD so fairly safe to assume they share some of the wiring. My to my knowledge on has a clutch safety switch and no mower or mid PTO.
My suggestion, start chasing wires to find where either one is grounded out or where 2 wires are fused to one another.

Wire a light bulb (12 volt, of course) to two tabs that can plug in where the fuse normally goes,,
The bulb needs to be a higher wattage bulb, like a tractor headlight bulb, that has a filament,, (NOT an LED,, etc,,)
Plug in the light, instead of the fuse. When the condition that "blows" the fuse occurs, the bulb will light up brighter.
Now, the next step it is best to have a "helper" that can watch the bulb. NOT this guy,,,

Go around and wiggle the wires, and harness,, etc,, until the bulb gets brighter.
When you get the bulb to stay bright, you will have found the short,, :cool2: :thumbsup:
I think the last time I did this, I used a "4411 Standard Sealed Beam",, they cost about $5 at Rural King.
