When the unit was delivered, engagement of the pto lit up the 1000 pto light on the dash. Turns out, library in the computer was corrupt. Reprogramming fixed the issue.
Then at 8 hrs. The pto wouldn't fully engage causing codes and the STOP light on the dash to light up. Ended up being the speed sensor for the pto on the rear of the tractor, by the pto, failed.
Then at 10hrs. A hydraulic line coupler coming from the back of the tractor to the loader valve o-ring failed. Which I believe was from not being tightened correctly from the factory. A couple of the other lines were somewhat loose as well.

Also had a check engine light come on, due to the bolt coming out of the linkage from the egr actuator to the egr valve.

Now they put 2.5 gallons of hydraulic fluid in and told me that was enough. Have to get more because of loader cavitation. Went and checked the level after shut down and it is only 1/3 up on the sight glass!!

Not a pleasant 12hrs so far. Hopefully all the bugs are worked out and no more worries! 😃Made 2 payments and not been able to use it much yet.

These days buying a new tractor one has to anticipate a lot of nuisance fixes and several problems before the bugs are out. Sick but true. It is a shame that you pay every bit as much for a new tractor as you would for a car and yet the expectations and the infant mortality are almost totally different. The key is to aggressively get ALL the bugs out while it is still under warrantee. I had an unusual (??) case with a MF2660 back in 2011 purchased new and it literally took 3 years to get all the bugs out. No doubt half that 3yrs was because I'm 300 miles from the farm and only get a crack at it once a month. The other 1.5 years is still outrageous. If you really need a machine to rely on from day one buy an above market price used one that someone else got the bugs out of.

I assume you bought at Lemons ?

I agree, and yes bought at Lemons. Said they never have seen any of the issues I am having. On a side note, they did come to my farm every time to repair the tractor.
Now, that I can use it, the rains are here. So, I guess I will have to wait to test the repairs. At least I have almost 5 yrs to see if it holds up.

Understand. Mine is just south of Clarksburg. Bought it here in So MD and hauled up there. L&T in Buckhannon supported me with warrantee work until they closed down Sept. 2014. After the first 3 yrs I've had no need to take to a dealer. Lookout on warrantee exceptions. Like the loader was only 1 year (may have gotten better but I don't think it is 5yrs.) An early 4708 near my farm had complaints of lack of power steering strength (unable to turn in mud with a big bale on the loader, etc.) His only other problem was tweeking on the power shuttle Fwd/Aft to stop severe lurches (Lemon's came to his farm and took care of that.) I have not owned one but they seem like really nice tractors. Approx. where are you located?

The loader is only 1 yr. Tractor is bumper to bumper 2yrs. Power train is 5 yrs. They redesigned the powersteering and the blower for the HVAC, due to complaints. Which I think is good, they seem to listen to the customer. My shuttle has a modulation dial. Can pretty much dial it in to your needs. All of the research I have done, never mentioned the problems I have experienced. Hopefully I am done with the bugs. My main farm is located in LeRoy WV
And I have a few scattered in the Jackson County area that I rent out.

Good info. I'm glad to see they have put in improvements to correct the things I had heard of on the 4700 series. I would expect that in the long run you've got a good tractor. I'm not familiar with your part of WV but being 40 miles from your dealer is a luxury these days.

I'm about 100 miles away. However, a MF4707 is certainly worth it to me as my other options are John Deere and Kubota with a limited amount of New Holland support.

The FL3515 with softdrive and lack of complex emissions by themselves are worth a lot to me. Add a really good design and real agricultural use in mind and you have a real winner. Heck, the 3-pt by itself will probably lift a lot of Kubota's off the ground without the attached loader. And, I won't need a super expensive green laptop to fix normal things with my expected MF4707 purchase.

I'm a little surprised by your issues. It sounds like your dealer didn't do a real good checkout before delivery. The one I saw today was in the shop and being being tested to make sure everything worked as expected and was properly adjusted.

Yes aggravated to say the least . The 2021- 4707 tractor. On a good note I like the extra weight compared to other brands. I like the functionality. But the small things that result in shutting down operation is wearing my patience.
Starting AC NOT COLD even after updating. Fuel system issues. The first was QC issues bleeder screw loose. Now fuel issues I'm assuming not a lot of information on this tractor.. see pictures of codes and warning lights also the linkage that was hanging down.
Found this linkage hanging loose placed back on the tractor the engine code left but exhaust warning still on and still loosing rpm after a short run at high rpm .
What does this LINKAGE do anyway. I didn't adjust anything just placed back on shaft and tightened set screw down.

While looking at this the loader frame is loose with bolts backed out .
This tractor has 160 hrs and of light use pulling a 6' brush hog and a 4x5 round baler to roll a 120 rolls not a commercial use tractor use only in the weekends mainly mowing or putting out hay ..
Now back relying on 1970 model. David Brown 880.
Massey going back to dealer tomorrow. Hopefully to get some more bugs worked out. The dealer I will say has been very attentive to the issues I think it will be a good tractor but as all brands to many electronics and not built to really work.
