Piranha tooth bar!!!

My Markham tooth bar has never been off the BX... really transformed machine capabilities.

I don't think Markham is around anymore and I bought it 15 years ago... time flies.

Thanks for the link- I didn't remember seeing that brand before, but it looks a lot like a lot of the ones I've seen on skid-steers and bigger tractors- like the W.R. Long models.

Naa. I just discovered I needed them both and had sold it to my nephew and he needed it. Well, maybe a little bit of remorse but there were several of you involved over the years. I offered to do a test use of the Piranha several years ago but they wouldn't go for my offer and made me buy one to get one.:laughing::laughing: The RR and Piranha are really two different implements for different purposes and not competitors but no one had made that clear over the years and I had to buy and use both for a few years to understand that when the shortcomings would show up when trying to use just the one for the wrong job.

Yup exactly, they're different tools. It's like comparing backhoe to loader, yeh one could do the job of the other one a little bit, but they have different job descriptions.

Well, I don't have the BXpanded forks, but the forks we do have, we can put anywhere on the edge, so if there's a problem, it's with the BXpanded forks, not the PTB.

And you can do the same with the Bxpanded forks, IF you take the PTB off. (2 bolts)

Took the Piranha bar off my L3901 yesterday for the first time since buying it................Traded the L3901 tractor with 270 hours and front hydraulics to Barlows for a new MX5400 (#30) with bigger bucket and front hydraulics and waiting for Barlows to bring MX and pick up L for them to resale and that's why I took the Piranha off. Maybe can sell it to someone with the right size bucket for it. May buy another Piranha for the larger MX bucket later unless someone can tell me how to install the Piranha on a wider bucket which would be nice.
I recently bought a new RatchetRake and can use it on the new bucket since it does not have to be the exact size like the Piranha. Also bought new adjustable 48" forks with hay spear and desire to sale my current Heavy Duty Titan 48" fixed blades SSQA forks. May even sale my Landpride 3ph Quick hitch since MX has extending arms, not sure about that and desire input from those who have extending arms and a 3ph Quick hitch.

Well, maybe not ANYwhere, but pretty well spread across the bucket in multiple locations.

Yes, still alive.:cool2: But, again, this may be my last tractor trade. I know I've said it before, maybe several times but really this time. Don't you need a thumb for that BX? I've got one that needs to find a new home, never used.
