I ordered it through FIMI Australia. It came from China in 9 days.
Banggood sell them and I think AliExpress too.

Yes, they do, $449.00 USD and in stock (Bangood). Only issue I see is they only ship with one battery and I don't see additional batteries offered.

I might order one next month, I'm collecting drones now....lol FIMI will be 3.

There are other options as in pay more for the 2 battery option or Fimi Care.
Check Aliexpress prices. I could have saved money if I had got mine there. LOL

I just bought an extra battery from Banggood. They have a lot of accessories. fimi x8 se 22 - Buy fimi x8 se 22 with free shipping | Banggood.com

3 drones? I can beat that LOL. I have 3 other autonomous drones that fly by tablet.
I got offered a 3/4 built Hexacopter yesterday and I said NAH.....
Thinking of selling a couple actually.

At present I am using a Huawei phone with a 6" screen. The handpiece will take a 8" tablet like the Lenovo or iPad Mini.

I have an FAA permit to fly my Drone. I'm not a commercial licensed pilot. FAA knows my Drone by it's serial number. There are very strict restrictions on where and how you fly. I am very considerate of violating people's space. I rarely fly in heavily populated areas and if so it's at events like at the local Dragstrip or a Parade. I maintain courteous height when near people. I don't want my Drone to be a nuisance.

FAA regulates my height at 400ft. Here's a pic from that height.

Sounds exactly like me. I use my Phantom 4 but I play by the rules and try to remain respectful of others.

I did fly over a field full of sheep at around 200’ which scattered them real quickly. I hauled butt out of there before the farmer started shutting.

I searched the LOS rule and never found what I thought was clarity. I frequently fly with no eye contact with the Drone. I've never tested this to be sure but I'd guess I can "see" my Drone 3/8 mile maximum and that would be if the background was sky. More like 1/4 mile maximum if the background is Earth.

Typically any alphabet agency will have regs that can be interpreted in more ways than one. Same applies to the FAA.

One thing for sure, you can see an EVO a lot farther away than say a Mavic and the FIMI is white too, like the DJI grey, not really visible.

And the mini Drones disappear within seconds.

I could not see my white Fimi at 90 meters directly above me. I knew where it was because it was on screen but it wasn't until it was in landing mode that I caught site of it eventually.

Yeah, thats why I like my orange Drone.

Yes, they do Richard. I don't fly the Tello very far. it's so tiny it's gone in a flash. One nice thing about the Tello is, you can fly it indoors. I fly it in the house. The cats are always intrigued...

Had it at my buddy's house and he was flying it and flew it down the hall into his bedroom where his wife was napping. She wasn't happy. Very precise to fly, much more precise than the EVO and returns to home better too. Of course it don't go that far either. 350 foot radius and 45 foot vertical with no WiFi repeater.

No controller either, flies directly on the App and only 1080P.

I got it to learn with so I wouldn't paste the EVO but it's fun to fly. No, I have not crashed either yet. Came close but no cigar.

Got the Lifthor tablet holder for the EVO. I fly it with the Lenovo Tab 10 mounted on the controller and everything mounted on a tripod.

Flying bare foot for now. Have a test scheduled for the commercial drone pilot's license exam but it's a ways out. The Covid thing has impacted everything.

Hopefully, I'll have a FIMI shortly too. Drones are a lot less expensive than firearms...lol

I see Dustin Dunhill was impressed.

My big complaint about DJI's beside the geofencing. You cannot visually see them, you can hear them before you can see them. Guess you can 'skin' them with various patterns including camo but I don't understand the neutral coloring stock.

The little Tello is white with black struts and a grey belly and it's invisible as well.

I assumed the Fimi didn't come with geofencing in it, correct? Didn't say in the blurb yeah or nay.

/ Drone suggestion #194
The only geofencing built in is dependent on your zone. It won't let you fly close to airports but I don't have any near me to try it. There is a beginner mode that limits distance (500 meters) and height ( up to 50 meters) and a unlimited mode. (up to 500 meters height) It only mentions airfields and nothing else.
You can buy skins from Banggood for the Fimi but you can't cover the bottom of it because it is all alloy heatsink.

I would suggest you get one of these Gimbal protectors. I have ordered one but it is on the slow boat. There is also a choice of a white Opaque one.

I was intrigued by the Fimi and was reading up on it. Seems great, but lots of people talking about problems with theirs. I also realized that it probably would be better for me to buy from a company with a presence in US because at some point I'll likely need replacement parts and not a fan of the slow boat from China. I had to replace a few on the Aton I owned and that wasn't even here that long.

We have high winds blowing here at the moment so I thought I would send it up and see how good the gimbal was. Very pleased to report the video was very smooth with no sign of bumping around even though gusts were hitting the Fimi pretty hard at times.

What do you consider too high of winds? I don't fly in over 15 to 20mph gusts. I know it can do better and video quality is no issue. Just don't want to be blown into a tree.

They are OK to fly in up to 50 kph winds so that is about 30 mph? It has plenty of power to fly into any wind we get here.

/ Drone suggestion #200
The first time my Drone didn't make it home I had flown a mile away, down wind. I was a novice and didn't pay any attention to remaing battery. The monitor initiated the RTH feature. The Drone was only capable of 8mph into the head wind. Critical landed in my hayfield about 1/8 mile from my launch point. Learned a valuable lesson that day.
