3000 hours especially on a gas motor is a bunch. Even for a diesel mower the rest of the machine is getting pretty tired. I’ve seen machines like that for $1,000. $4,000 is way too much.
Got it ... will keep looking around!

A local lawn business has several Gravely 60" mowers with 32 hp Kawasaki engines w/about 3000 hours for sale at $4000 each. Anyone know if that's a fair price?
The walkers are expensive and their claim to fame is high end grass cutting. If you’re only wanting to cut grass the Grasshopper is way better.
Walker does a lot more that groom high end lawns these days. Watch this video all the way through and check out the awesome features on a 37 hp. out front read discharge mower. The title of the thread is BEST commercial zero turn. I think Walker is right up there with the best. You will pay a premium for them.

Just bought a Titan MyRide 60 inch today. My 40+ year old Deines crapped the bed yesterday. One hydro all but quit. At a thousand each, not going that route. Have been searching a bit, ride system seemed good. Went for test ride, sweet, not hard to convince me to buy. Not commercial, not diesel but will fill the bill for this old body. Pick it up tomorrow as we had too much other stuff to do in the city. Bought at a local dealer.

Got a new Bad Boy Maverick a couple weeks ago. Love it...but probably would have liked several others I looked at too. Mowed a few acres in roughly half the time of tractor and brushhog and it looks like a golf course now instead of, well, brushhogged. I look forward to mowing now too...hope that lasts a long time. Need traction tires though and maybe a bigger gas tank... the Kawi sucks the gas down.
