Billy must not have too many if hunting with butterfly net :)

I carry it on hikes and make figure 8 movements over my head and along my arms...I'm sure I look goofy. Kept a log last couple of years (also something goofy)...537 kills last year and 2,037 the year before...maybe I'm making progress. Sometimes I keep the net going until I had dozens in it. I don't know why there are so many along the creek and in the woods...rarely see one when I hike at the battlefield forest and never in the mountains.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 61° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 68° with rain then clouds. House is clean. Pick up my Aunt this morning. Then spend day chit chatting and do a few things around house.
My Dr neighbor lost a fellow Dr. Tuesday. He came down with the virus. Was treating himself with oxygen at home. Started having breathing problems. Died in ambulance on way to hospital. If you have symptoms get to a hospital for proper care. This Dr. graduated from same high school I did.

Crane before landing. Not very well focused.

Drew, special prayers.

Great pictures everyone.

Eric, any species that is not native to North America is considered invasive. Sometimes it's a good thing compared to Native species.

RNG, hope your solar guy shows up soon.

Riptides, poison ivy. Not sure what changed. But I used to breakout every time I got near it. Now it does not seem to bother me anymore. Nice sunset.

Randy, hope Dr appointment found you some help. Son is headed to Tail of the Dragon today. Play with his Mustang. Still have to remind him to be careful.

Don, good to hear no roof damage. I am not sure size of hail determines how it will damage thing. A lot has to do with how frozen it is. Lot of hail is a mix of snow and ice. More ice, more damage. Also how far it is falling from. Hail from low clouds is better than high clouds.

LS, has your wife put any fish in pond yet?

RS, I would have put a short bolt in one of the holes and used my 15" Channel Locks to take end cap off.

Everyone be safe and healthy

Good Morning All.

74 and cloudy going to 85, maybe storms. Had a good t-storm yesterday.

Almost June. Where'd April and May go?

Good Morning!!!! 77F @ 5:30AM. Clouds and some sun this morning with more clouds for this afternoon. High 91F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph.
Rain starts in the wee hours tomorrow morning, continuing through noon, with thunderstorms until evening. We could get as much as 0.6".

Some really fantastic photos, folks. Thanks for sharing!

Careful, Randy, this is a family thread.

Lots of stories about crashes on Tale of the Dragon, Ron. Hope your son has fun and doesn't find any trouble. Saw a missing persons post from the Sheriff's Department yesterday for a motorcyclist that disappeared Monday. This morning I read he went off a mountain road and they found his bike, and his body.

Good to hear Julie's made a nice recovery, and you both survived your cooking, Eric.:laughing:

You deserve some nice weekend weather after all that rain, Buppies.

Sounds like you're making good progress on the cylinders, RS.

Right from the beginning, one of the experts I was following said that the main method of transmission was from breathing air contaminated by exhalations/sneezes/coughs of others, Don. I'm still wearing N95 masks in public.

Speaking of masks, hope Jay's doin' OK.

Hoping for a steady recovery for you, too, Drew.

Got the bookcases moved yesterday, and it took all day. I really need to start going through them and re-home toss out a lot of them. I still have binders full of notes I took as an undergraduate I haven't opened in forty years, and moving boxes full of old magazines I haven't opened in ten!:confused2:

Heading out early this morning to purchase plywood and tarps to cover the trench. Heard from solar contractor finally, via email. He evidently didn't have the stones to speak over the phone. Said delay was beyond his control, he wanted photos of the garage and trench. and that a crew would be here Monday - Wednesday next week. I made a short video of both summarizing my concerns, wrote back including the URL and expressing my disappointment, and suggesting he do a better job with his communications. No response.:banghead:

TGIF gang!:drink:

Good morning to all! Low of 52, high up to mid 80s, chance of t-storms. Humidity level increased to 36% this morning.

RS, making progress on the cylinders.... a good thing for sure!

Ron, another great pic... looks like he has flaps deployed.... no fish in pond, probably will not be, more for water sounds.

RIP, nice sunset pic!

RNG, sounds like good progress on clearing/reorganization. Hope the solar guy keeps his word and progress will be made next week. There is something about getting rid of books that is hard... I think I have an underlying fear of not having a reference in the future.... may be caused by the reading of the book “ Fahrenheit 451 “ when a kid.

Randy, careful...careful...

Rick, any hail down your way?

I may attempt to do the electric work today, I think i am just procrastinating, thinking it is going to be harder than it actually will be. Just need to get motivated.

Everyone have a great day and start to the weekend!

Anybody notice anything strange about my last post.... I noticed it about 3/4 the way through typing it, so thought it might be fun just to continue.... and see who will be the first to pick up on the anomaly.
