Good evening all. 66F this morning, partly cloudy, light breeze. Light to moderate breeze today, with mostly cloudy skies, and high temp of 81F. worked on chainsaw carb, not running full throttle. Better than it was suspect fuel line is getting too loose and leaking some air. Worked on kindling pile to check out saw, took load of leaves to drop off then napped. Wife cook last of crappie and cornbread for supper tonight. :licking:

71 right now...high in the mid-80's. Probably rain and a T-storm or so this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow morning. That'll probably eliminate any outdoor work until Sunday. I have a couple jobs I can do in the garage to keep me busy...

Good morning, another day of pure blue sky for us, with an expected high of 25C/77F and set to continue like this all weekend.

Nice vibrant sunset Rip.

What a great viewing point, could look at that for a long time.

Wng, thanks for asking about Julie, yes she has made a good recovery, not quite perfect but she can do most things again. The only long term damage is likely to be mental trauma caused by my cooking :)

Ron, I never would have guessed that tench would be an invasive species for you. I wonder if the introduction had anything to do with their reputation as the "doctor" fish, the soft-as-silk lubrication on their ultra smooth flanks was once thought to have powerful healing properties. They certainly know how to look after themselves, they always look in perfect condition.

Good morning all,

Hope the start of your weekend will be good to you.

Rain moving through this AM. Feel the humidity in the house. Around 72 this AM, lows going into the mid-80's. Spotty t-storms on tap.

Nothing planned, but I need to do something with the front porch. Not up for demo, especially with all the glass involved. And the soft ground right now sets me back for a debris container delivery. I'd like to put it by the house and just heave what I can in it.

Yesterday I went and bushhogged the back 40 again. Was in 2WD mostly, until I got stuck within a rut. Need some drain tile back there. Sigh.

I retreated to the pool after dinner, just need to vacuum it up, and it's swimmable. Just nice looking at water.

Have a good day all, be safe!
