Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 7:45AM. Sunny. High 79F. Winds light and variable.
I can almost hear the birds singing, the bees buzzing, and the lambs bleating in that photo, Eric! Glad you're getting some fine weather.
Hope your procedure brings relief, Drew, and the cause of your drip is easy to fix.
That's a lot of bags of, er, fertilizer...
You mean GoPros aren't indestructible, Ted?
I stuck a stick on GoPro mount on a piece of aluminum bar that was tapped 1/4x20, the same thread a lot of tripods use. But I put a long shank bolt with lock nut in it, and used that in a magnetic base to hold the camera in the engine bay of the van. I wanted to see if the noid light was triggering on the fuel injectors while the engine was cranking, and I didn't yet have a remote starter. Those mounts can be just about anything you can think of, but they have to be sturdy, especially if you wanna mount 'em on yer tractor, right Ted?:confused2:
Moved the speakers to a point lower in the door yesterday, and now the doors close a lot easier. The were hitting the dash, which was covering up half the speaker. Still no cards on the inner doors, so it's best to find these things out now rather than after the upholstery is done.
Got enough wiring done to listen to the radio and iPhone; sounds a lot better than my singing. Speakers are rattling at higher volumes though, and I think it might be the plastic sheet I wrapped around the backs of them to keep them dry. Found the bundle of wire from the power antenna stuffed way up under the dash; I'd forgotten all about doing that. It's now wired to a manual switch so I can control when the antenna is deployed. Still have to install a backup camera, but that's about it. This head unit supports Apple CarPlay. I think I'm really gonna like that. But the best feature may well turn out to be an actual mute button; the radio in the truck had an on screen mute that's buried two menus deep. Specs on the amps I'm installing call for 6 gauge wire for the power supply and ground, fused for 80 and 150 amps. I just wanna hear the music going down the freeway, not weld with it
