Great drone shots mate. I got mine out last night and did some night missions. LOL. Haven't had the neighbours complaining about UFOs yet. I have blinking lights on it and you can see it from miles away.

I agree, nice place. What area of Missouri is that?
...I'd hafta be hovering outside your living room window 50ft or less away to have any idea what was going on inside.![]()
...and how do you know this exactly???
(just pulling your leg....)
Nice videos. Not meaning to hijack the thread but, what drone do you have? I'm thinking of getting one. I'll probably start another thread asking about drones.
Do so... there are enough of us on TBN that have one. I am on my second... gave my first one to my son.Nice videos. Not meaning to hijack the thread but, what drone do you have? I'm thinking of getting one. I'll probably start another thread asking about drones.

2020-04-17_04-33-54So looking at that last pic, how many higher will the top of the dam be?
That would give you a LOT of reservoir.
The ability to withstand heavy runoff would be controlled by two things. Free board on the dam. An earthen spillway in addition to the pipe.
I don't think I'd build mine without an emergency earthen spillway. In today's weather patterns you never know.
I think it will be interesting to follow this project through a year or so of seasons and see your management/maintenance activities.Would definitely need a spillway. I have a feeling there is a large amount of water that flows through here in a heavy rain.
