BEF- I am sorry to read about your Sister. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for her and all those treating her.

I can not believe what just happened. Brogen's nails were getting far too long and to wait for our vet to reopen again (probably May at this point) would be too long and not be healthy, so I decided to try cutting his nails solo and he was totally cooperative; no 3 on 1, no wrestling, no problem whatsoever.(_)

best wishes for your sister, Buckeye.

I was searching online for ways to disinfect face masks.
First they are spending their time making expensive UV light systems for hospitals
and medical practices, and then maybe...we might get a handy dandy small model for home.
And not so expensive it prohibits use for many.

Here's an idea...many of us have Instapots, wonder if there was a way to use it to sterilize without the use of water.

I managed to get an over due and much needed haircut just two days before barbershops / hair salons were shut down here.

Rick- You were lucky. Barber shops and beauty salons are closed in MA. I got a hair cut a couple of weeks before C-19. I usually get a haircut on a 1/4ly - biannual basis so I am not impacted.

Drew- From what I have read UVC lights do not work all that well. It depends on the surface being treated.

H2O2 at the typical 2% solution will kill C-19. If I remember correctly one can go with an even lower concentration.

Bleach works.

I have yet to find consistent information as to what temperature kills C-19.

Good luck.

When that happens I take a picture of pump screen.

Like this?

Casey's Receipt.JPG

Interestingly enough ... several years ago, I got gas at a station in a small town where I lived then. After the pump shut off, I got no receipt. As I was pulling away onto the road, I saw in my rearview mirror the clerk running out trying to get my license plate number. I backed onto the lot and asked why shew was doing that. She told me she was going to report it to the police as a drive-off. I asked her how that was possible, as the pump won't even turn on without pre-payment inside or payment at the pump. She then said, "Yeah, it's been acting weird lately." I called the owner and told him he needs to fix his pump, as I'm not interested in being arrested because of poor maintenance of his equipment. He checked the records, and sure enough, it had dispensed the gas without charge. So, I went back that afternoon and paid for my gas.

Did your neighbor (Louis?) ever get his new tractor? Which model did he decide on?

I hooked one of my neighbors up with John Ryan and he picked up his very lightly used XG3135H last week. This is his first tractor.

He (Harold) drove down yesterday, picked up his new tractor first thing this morning, on his way back. He got the new MT225, he is going to get the BH, but he will go back down in a month or 6 weeks.

He is actually costing me some money.... he is bringing me back a factory mount BH thumb.... at least I saved on the shipping...:dance1:
Hopefully when he goes back down, I will not spend any more, but.... I have been thinking about a T&T kit....$$$

BEF, sorry to hear about your sister, my +thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jay, congratulations on a + experience with Brogen... maybe he just was not expecting it.... two times would be the charm...

I am lucky.... I do not have to worry about barbers being open... I do not have any hair that needs to be cut... once a month take the electric shears just to make it even at 1/8 inch...:confused3:

65°F and .34 inches rain. Wonder what non carport stuff I’ll get into? Need to spend some time cleaning up at the tractorshed, putting stuff away. Of course there is mowing to do if dry enough.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
