Time for a shower, a Philly cheesesteak and fries for dinner, then try out the recliner to see if it still works!
You deserve it (recliner) after all that. Take it easy on that knee.
Good evening all. 43F for the start, overcast, light breeze. Wind stayed light, overcast all day, and high temp was 63F. Happy Palm Sunday to you all. Slow start, did watch chapel's live stream, and revived the fire in insert. Watch recorded news, cooked breakfast for wife, cooked lunch, chicken with apricot glaze, green beans, and rice. :licking: Did go for bike ride today, didn't start till almost 3 so only did 20 m. No nap today.
Buckeye hope your Palm Sunday Service went well.
Eric, may be slow, but powered by porridge is the most reliable, keep the blade sharp.
Bill, little warm for snow isn't it?
Rich glad you got some seat time, and the driveway shows it.
Mike UMCP?
Ron it depends on level of training. When I am prepping for week long ride I try to ride 6 days a week, and if I get weathered out will do some time on stationary trainer. If just doing general maintenance then will shift riding days around weather.
Billy sorry to hear about your TP vendor, hope you have a Dare I say it , cushion, (no pun intended).
Ted, nice update, sound like your neighbor is getting another tractor.
David sounds like your mental health day is spending time with your spouse, I do enjoy my wifey time.
Buckeye glad you were able to clear the glitch up, maybe make a check list for audio end.
Jay that should get you plenty of clearance.
Kyle, think you could get a pressure carb to work, like off a big chainsaw?
Hawkeye, interesting problem on FB maybe try your FB account next time?
Thomas BooBoo back?
Buckeye, guy can't be very smart, restaurants are scale way back, probably fewer cash transactions as well. :confused2:
David there is a lot of room to move around cars!
Ted - nice pics
Randy, nice spray rig, sorry you struck out on flowers.
Jay my face shield has not been cleaned or used in over 10 years!
prayers for all.
stay safe and healthy.
Lunch sounds good there. Sorry about no nap.
Would have to research pressure carbs to see if they could be utilized....
Got started on son's minibike project. Or I should say, picked back up on it. After painting the frame and fenders, we now have a rolling chassis. Will have to start ordering some parts now.
Good morning, temp is 29ーF and the high will be 50. Wind; calm. A mix of sun and cloud.
My syrup guy is delivering 5 Litres of syrup today...$70.oo in total works out to $14.oo/L
A bank run is in the cards for today and maybe the hardware store again.
Have a healthy day all
$14 Canadian/litre is a good deal from my standpoint. Sounds yummy.
The daily gruel. A bit of L4S maple syrup would brighten it up IMHO.Good morning. Our two week "drought" is over, will let this unpredicted rain shower blow over before I go and check the rest of the sheep.
My preference is to add only water to the oats, cook slowly in a pan, then let it cool slightly until it goes solid. In my youth I would add sugar or treacle, also went through a phase of copying my Scottish neighbour and adding only salt. I have long since been weaned off any additives, many will think that produces extremely bland breakfast food and I would agree, there is something about simple food that is hard to explain.
My wife got me to stop taking sugar in tea or coffee some years ago by refusing to include it on her shopping list. At first I couldn't wait to get back to work to enjoy a drink with added sweetness, then within a week or two I had to stop spooning it in as my taste buds soon changed.
Do you like your coffee with or without ?
Still can't drink coffee black, but used to drink plain iced tea. I didn't start drinking coffee until after 40 years old.
I've been wearing the same 2 masks for weeks now in public. 170F in the oven for an hour for sterilization.
