And there's an angle that I read today; the difference between commercial TP and consumer TP and the supply chain to deliver the product.

The TP producers can't (quickly, I imagine) re-tool(?) commercial grade TP production to make up for the shift in volume and quality of consumer/household grade TP. In other words, they're still producing at the rate/ratio/demand of 2-3 months ago.

There's probably a glut of commercial grade TP out there right now in warehouses.

The commercial paper bought in cases for the Hospital is also in short supply... order 5 cases... and 2 arrive.

I wish we had a choice; I think they ship the culls to us here in this state, and we never know the difference. I'll look around and ask next time I get to go to the store though. Thanks for the tip.

I think we debated this a bit a while back. I think first you need to be specific with the varietal. Grouping by state isn't appropriate at least in Washington where there are 8 prominent varietals. They don't all taste the same. But the good news is they are all easy on TP.

That's my understanding of why TP is the 'grade' that it is... it's specifically designed to be used with 'indoor plumbing'.

Even Tissue such as Kleenex can play havoc and paper towels of any kind simply don't break down fast enough...

The worst and causing all kinds of problems for municipalities are the "Flushable" wipes...

I was warned by the company that pumped out my septic tank not to flush Kleenex.

I've seen the same septic in a rental clean as could be and later simply full of all manor of garbage... cigarettes', wipes, hygiene products and even diabetic needles.

As Ron White says, 'you can't fix stupid'. I have lived on septic since I moved out of my parents house about 40 years ago. I have always been conscious of recycling, disposing, composting, burning, etc. I like the challenge of minimizing my garbage and repurposing what I can. Unfortunately I am sure the masses don't give this any thought.

I suppose you mean Kleenex tissues? Kleenex Toilet Paper is made here in Australia. No problems with that so far.

The red delicious apples are the ones we send out to those who do not know what a good apple is. We keep the good varieties to ourselves. :licking:

Mostly serious, since we do ship out other varieties. Locally we never eat the red delicious apple, but we may have to use them as TP someday. :shocked:
