Welcome to tractor ownership! I also recently purchased a Kioti, a DK 40 SE. Mine has a touch over 400 hours, and also needed oil and filter changes. When I looked in the owners manual, it stated to take the sight glass plug out and fill until it comes out. I left mine in, and filled until I just saw the oil in the sight glass, about 1/4 - 1/3 up the glass. In your pic, it is difficult to tell where the oil is, but I would add and watch carefully, once you see the oil, then stop and recheck after it levels out in the axle.
My nearest dealership is about 90 miles away but they offered shipping and seemed really helpful. I'd recommend using forums like this and good info on you tube, Mike from Kioti dealership down south also has great videos.
Good Luck!!
I would leave it alone for a while. Run it for a while and see where it lands. Air gets trapped in the lower spaces and can take several hours of operation to work itself out. A lot of nooks and crannies to trap an air bubble.
Okay will run it some and check! thanks
Okay, I drove the tractor for about 30 minutes last week and the front axle fluid has leveled out where it should be.
