Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Haven't seen any free coupons for anything other then the blue oval flashlight for a year or more around here.

I found a coupon for a free tarp on the www. last week and used it. It must have expired because I can't find it now.

^^ I'll be looking for the tape measure ones again. They're not all that durable and I keep losing them. What bugs me though is that the tape won't support itself much beyond 5 or 6 feet.

But free is free.

My problem with the free tape measures is that I forget they're outside, it rains, and they won't retract worth shucks anymore. Does anyone know of a retractable tape measure that will stand up to a good rain?

Has anybody tried the Drummond 1/10 hp water transfer pump. Thinking of buying one to get water into my rv from water jugs.

I've used HF's similar 12 volt one, it worked fine for watering new trees. Photo 1 (That's 12 volt wiring). Photo 2.

Just bought this yesterday-I like it so far. Its a bit heavier than I hoped but that may turn out to be a feature later. Just cant lift it to store on top of cabinet like I hoped.

Back on subject....

Bought the HF 24 buck air hose reel today, actually bought 2. On sale with my Club card for $14.99 each. Looks very substantial but they don't come with a whip connector hose so, it's back to HF for a 3 footer. Also bought the 'Tub of Towels' shop towel roll and the dispenser. I'm sick of dealing with dirty shop towels.

They HF is running an in store sale on Bauer 20 volt Li Ion cordless tools too. I'm flush with them however and none have 'smoked' yet.
