You were lucky with the fluffy snow Jay! We got a couple inches of snow with a day full of rain on it. Heaviest slop I've seen in a long time. Snow blower wouldn't even try to blow it. I took off the plow and just used the bucket. Could have used a water pump or squeegee. What a mess! Thank goodness the ground stayed frozen or it would have been impossible to clean.
33 here today with more something coming thursday. Off to get ready for work.

good morning all. A warm 63 this morning going up to 75 in on and off light rain all day. Looks like a fairly wet week actually.

Phil,Roy, Jay and many others, careful driving in the snow, particularly the freezing ice slop.

got pain under control by using the pills I didn't want to but so far this morning am ok. And no more pills, I hope.
Have to wait until Friday afternoon to find out about MRI's. My request for an earlier appt so far has been ignored.

Hope to have a quiet day planting seeds.

Rick, I'm impressed with your dedication to coffee. I think I would have broken open some of those pods to get the ground coffee for the Cuisinart. Next time you're at the grocery store, pick up a bag of beans as your backup. Or I could mail you some (but no pecan flavors) as soon as BEF outs your location .

David, that looks like a perfect fit. What's your drainage plan for the side facing the house? You get so much rain.

Wasn't supposed to start raining until 4pm yesterday, but felt a few drops while outside at 10am, so accelerated my timing on finishing up splitting firewood, and bring in a load to the porch. Started raining pretty steady as I finished up. So made lunch and watched Perry Mason.

Running late, so I'm checking in from work computer...

31 in Bethel...pretty dense fog on the drive in and a few slick spots. High in the mid-30's today. I was running late going home, so feeding the dog and cats (yep, we have cats too...belong to my stepdaughter) took priority over checking out the tractor's snowblower...maybe this afternoon...
Wifey and Stepdaughter return from their Texas vacation tonight. They should be home about 2300-2330

Morning Y'all!

Not much going on here at MossFlower. Having an very Un Winter. yesterday was crappy rain all day. Its warm for a bit, then cold a tiny bit, very odd winter. Need at least one good snow so we can sled and test my new truck/Plow.

Lots of work, which is good for my soul after 6 months laid off. Bank Account is still hurting from that! LOL.

Speaking of the truck, I definitely need to learn a different driving style for it. The shift points on the transmission seem odd, it hates climbing the hill when engine is cold and lower gears are really low, but as soon as you hit overdrive on the road its sweet rolling along... nothing like my daily driver, LOL...
