I just added a blade to my little massey, now just have to figure out how to make either a hydraulic or electric actuator swivel for it

I've used linear actuators for a number of projects. Cheap ones have 100-200lbs of force, nicer ones can go up to 1,000lbs or so. Great for power SSQA or a snow blower chute where there isnt much force. Angle on a blade or anything getting a lot of impact is going to destroy a linear actuator quickly if not instantly. Even a SCUT can generate well over 1,000lbs of force, way more with a little momentum. Then multiply that by maybe 5 or something for the leverage between the edge of the blade & where power angle would mount.
Hydraulic is the only real option for this application.

Looks good. Did the shoes come with it, or did you add them? Looking to do something similar with my 7 foot blade, but not sure where to get shoes that will fit.

Great point, thank you.
I hate being lazy, not getting out every time it needs to be angled, but it is a pita getting in and out over the controls
