Good morning!!!!

Drinking first cup of coffee. 50ー with light rain this morning. Heading to 40ー in PM with some sun. Got exercise bike back together yesterday. San is coming over sometime today to help move from garage to house. Then I can figure out how to program the displays. Tried to get pictures of birds at feeds with new lens. They did not show up. Did take a couple of picture to show how much it zooms. Got a heavy duty tripod on it's way to support the 4.5 lbs. lens and 2 lbs camera.
300mm and 600mm.

Little report on my Aunt with 7 wheel walker. She has adapted to the reverse brake handles very well. Had to move a couple pieces of furniture to make way for it's added size from a aluminum walker.

RNG, great pictures.

Eric, is a google search cheating?

Drew, I had to go to Trac-Vac site to see the one with canvas. Did not know they made one that was not steel.

Don, those gardens need to get done. Going to be time to plant soon.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

Looks like you're all set to get some good bird pics.

Wifey made me chocolate coffee....yummy.

Very foggy outside.

RNG, looks like you had a good time at the zoo. I would love to see it. My mom, sister, and cousin are headed there on Super Bowl weekend.

Sheesh, I've wasted more time the last few days trying to patch up old stuff. HF predator engine. It had no spark after replacing the fuel line???? After about 199 pulls (didn't want to pass wng's record), I googled it. Turns out it has a low oil sensor in it. We had it turned on it's side to replace fuel line. I went ahead and changed the oil in it with fresh straight 30w. Fired up. Still surges. I'm afraid I'm going to burn up the exhaust valve with the broken muffler. I went ahead and tilled the whole garden. Daughter planted some spinach seeds.

My old '03 Impala's cooling fans won't turn on. I've replaced the 3 relays, checked the fuses, the coolant sensor, and still won't work. I did read where the low freon sensor can keep the control module from setting the condition for the fans to come on. It is low on freon and not cooling. One of the parameters are the fans coming on when the AC is on. Hope I don't need a new control module. The car is not worth much, and I was planning to use it for daughter's first car in a couple of years...

Thanks for the well wishes for Ed, he’s a good man.

Went out and dressed the end of the driveway and moved some brush, then I got a wild hair and started rearranging. Took the tractors out of the big garage and moved stuff around, blew out the floor and moved the Monte Carlo over and put the tractors in the small garage.

Hope Ed is better.

Wng, you sound like you are working harder, now that you have a cold. Hope it gets better.

BEF, Are you back up to speed?

A freezing rain/drizzle foggy 31ºF for today's low temperature; a foggy 35ºF presently; and I anticipate a cloudy, rain showery, hopefully drier afternoon high temperature ~40ºF. Not a great day for outdoor activities.

Yesterday's projects went as planned: I finally got the riding motor to start and ran out its gas. Its battery is ~3 years old; may be time to replace it next year. I'll keep it in the cellar this Winter. And I fashioned together a stand for the solar powered battery maintainer out of materials found in my cellar wood salvage area = 1 old used hinge, 1 piece of appropriately sized plywood, and 3 2X4's of equal length (where the 4th is/was is ?). It will work well for the Winter's sun angle; I may need to make it more adjustable for slope and seasonal sun angle changes.

Peg is still under the weather:( She has never tolerated this med mix well. It looks like I/We will be eating leftovers for a while; at least they are pretty decent as leftovers.

To Drew, Ted, Bird, DABSGT(?) and all the other first responders- thank you for your services. A bunch of guys like you saved my life twice. Thanks.

Bruce- I roll my chicken breasts after I pound then with a rubber mallet. Yours look to be great eats. I rarely make an accompanying sauce.

Billy- I hope that you shake off whatever is bothering you quickly. I hope the coffee works. That is a great hummingbird story. They can稚 be pretty fearless/aggressive. I/We saw 8 different species of hummingbirds in the 'Cloud Forests"/Monteverde region of Costa Rica. We were up close and personal.

BEF- Thanks for sharing another family story.

Kyle- Good luck replacing the fuel line.

RNG- Thanks for the zoo pictures. I was like a kid again when we went to the Bronx Zoo this Spring. I want to go back. I watch the 釘ehind the Scene Zoo TV specials. It amazes how much effort goes into the recreation of the zoo animals natural environment yet still allow for humans to get the animal experience.

RonJH- It appears the your new camera setup works as expected. What brand camera and zoom lens? I am happy to read that your Aunt has figured out the handbrake and is using it appropriately.

"... It was OK after a couple of cocktails.."- Ted I hate it when that happens; especially with a decent # of family anticipating a great meal with great service.. I hope at least that the drinks were decent. Bad service and poorly made drinks is the "kiss of death" IMO. I am happy that despite the restaurant everyone had a decent time and a great surprise. The expressions at the time of "surprise" were classic. I have seen much worse table layouts at decent restaurants- really nice.

I hope that everyone is having a decent day.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

I can’t remember everyone that’s sick, but I’m praying you get well quickly!
Not much on my schedule today, lunch with friends, then later my kids roll in to have Christmas with pop pop.
Y’all enjoy your Friday and I’ll check in later.

Must be some bad grass in the feed mix.

Trying to keep track of Wives and/or GF's, kids, family members, and pets almost requires a spreadsheet. Throw in the illnesses, conditions, aging/breaking down body parts, and meds would require a supercomputer.

This is a geriatric checkin and resource center?:cool:

Hope Peg starts getting better or gets off the meds.

The camera is a Canon 7D. Lens is a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary . The camera is a older metal frame model. 2009 to 2014. But takes good pictures.
