I thought I had seen them all. Just got rid of a huge book of far side. Gotta purge where you can.

I liked he one where the servant is holding a winch in front of the King, and he's saying, Bring me the Wench, Your Idiot, The Wench!

LOved the far side and some of BC, the one above reminded me of the king (in BC) sentencing a peasant to death and he cries out Mercy, the king responds with 'the peasant is thanking me'

The cow and insect ones were great too. We at times had thousand of cluster flies on the window sills and I loved the far side cartoon, that had a Mother Fly saying, It's a beutiful day and we're all going to the window sill.

Absolutely. Along with the Far Side, probably my favorite of all time. I also like Pogo Possum and Peanuts...and Lil' Abner fits itself in there somewhere. My favorite modern cartoon is probably "Pickles".

Pogo was nearly done when I learned to read, but a friend of the family had a couple compilation books with Pogo. I loved all those guys, Albert, Churchy and Porkypine. I think the next best thing was Calvin and Hobbes. I will confess to also reading Bloom County...
