What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Today I got a chance to play with the blue lady in the snow... Plowed 1/4 mile of the access road, then cleared out the driveway. We got over a foot of snow. Didn't remember to get a pic from the seat, but there she is "drying off" before I put her away. We're supposed to get some more snow again tomorrow night, so I will probably get some more wintertime fun in again!

Im always doing things that later im thinking well that would have been a cool picture to take lol usually its someone else that reminds me to take photos if i get any at all

Nothing too serious, but a neighbor got a Kubota GL7000 diesel generator. I was able to use my pallet forks to move it into place.
Got soaked as it was raining.

Puttered around the yard a bit hauling brush cut from the hedges I'm deep trimming due to overgrowth.

Why rekey it?

Because it's a standard, common key, like most brands do for some reason (cheapness). Somebody wants to swipe it, they just order a spare key from some where.

I would think a starter or battery lock out switch would be better if for anti theft purposes! But i have all my tractors sitting with keys in them just because it's easier for me to use them of course each one has its own little tricks to start even the new LS has a trick just move the shuttle shift lever into forward after turning off tractor and most people if they try to start it will think its dead!

Dug up 7 stumps today with my Bestco BH 6 backhoe, for a small backhoe it does a good job. I have owned a old Ford backhoe and a case construction model (it was a bear ) super strong it was just to large for me to keep after i cleaned new properties a few yrs ago. It was fun digging holes again.

Just been puttering around hauling brush from cleaning out an overgrown hedge row. Ran the MMM a bit to clean up the leaves and small debris.

Gotta say I'm not wild about the way the PTO starts even at low RPMs. Too much sudden motion for me. Wish I knew what the solenoid was activating. If it's just opening a hydraulic valve or pulling a clutch, I'd feel better than if it was engaging gears.

Picked up a used golf cart canopy, a couple pairs of mounting brackets, and a neat basket type thingy for $40. Only other things needed were some 2x3 square clamps. The whole project took me longer to pick up the stuff than it did to get it mounted. Worked out better than I thought it was going to. There are even a few bolt holes in perfect locations to mount some cube lights (next project in a few weeks). I am hoping to get it painted to match this week, I will post some more pics then.
