1988 Duetz Allis 5215

Bought 1988 Duetz Allis 5215, 2wd 18hp. Im having problems with the 3pt raising up. When I use up lever it whines and does nothing, then after 15 or so seconds it might raise up some. But it has only lifted the brushog once off the ground. Its just a small 4ft brushog. I have checked the hydraulic fluid and it seems full and clear..... now what ?

I had a 25hp 4wd Allis compact tractor (5020 I believe) and it had a 3pt control right under the seat area. Turn the knob to adjust the speed and height of the 3 pt. You might check to see if your model has that feature as well.

And if so, loosen the knob several turns and see what happens. It's designed to control drop rate. But if it's closed or almost closed it might have an affect on lift?
