Good Morning. It's 48° here and we have a heavy dose of Kyle's pea soup fog as well. The high today is forecast to get to 76° and our previously forecast weekend rain ... has vanished.
Whenever the fog clears ... I'll spend more time on the ZT mulching leaves. The Oregon Gator blades do a nice job of chopping up the oak leaves very fine so, they decompose quickly.
We have a crew starting the prep, prime and paint of our front pipe fence. That's one job I didn't want to do. My neighbor (a weekender) wn a construction company in Houston and he's got a crew working on things at his place so, I'm using three of his guys for a couple of days.

Heading to another Dr appt, 50 min away, next door to the one yesterday. Originally was scheduled yesterday to kill the 2 birds, but they called me last week to reschedule for late January. I called them yesterday and said I don’t think the dr wants me to wait that long. They checked with dr and he agreed with me.
He did a complicated surgery on me 2 yrs ago that took way longer than expected to heal. Really like this Dr.
Ran into a tree trimming road delay, so now running late.

30°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 61° today. Not hating the mild December weather this week.
Was just talking with The Wife a few days ago about new vehicle prices, and remembered when back in the '80s you could get a new F-150 for just under $10K. Not even close to that these days.
Wife took her father to the VA hospital this morning to have a cognitive test done. His wife complained to his doctor earlier this year that he doesn't seem to know what he's doing half the time (the reality is, she complains about everything, and he just started ignoring her). So, the doctor recommended his driver's license be revoked. He took one test on Tuesday and passed, but failed the second test this morning. Wife is upset.

Eating lunch at mission bbq. Their theme is military, police and fire, and they play the national anthem at noon, everyone stops and stands for it.

I brought multimeter in from shop.. too tired to do any troubleshooting last night, stove stayed running (pilot stayed on, thermostat cycled stove as needed)..
