The shunts provide the means to meter various values. How much output from Radian inverters or charge from their chargers. Charge provided by PV via the Charge Controller. I will use the 3rd to meter the charge provider by my FX chargers. My understanding is a shunt provides a known resistance, making measurementspossibe

Oh, I assumed (we know what that means) you meant a shunt trip coil, that gets energized to trip a breaker. Hence my comments about manual reset of breakers. Similar in nature to a UV coil (undervoltage) except works kind of opposite. They are used as lockouts.

A 1 line is the power flow, not controls. I did not know breaker values for FX but put in breaker symbols where one should be.

Hope you get it working soon.

Good Morning.

Holy smoke, we are having a heatwave! 33°F and going to a high of 39. Wind SE 5 mph. Rain!
This is the way last winter started off.

I have a town run today and I think the dump, too.

Anodes for water tank are ordered, $34.oo + tax each. They should be in on Tuesday. The tank only takes one, but I figured that if they go every three years, I will have a spare readily available. I will save the water tank nightmare until Tuesday/Wednesday.

Have a good day all

Good morning. No rain yet, but it sure is dull this morning.

Thanks for all the lantern suggestions. I had a quick look and discovered that my brad nailer, or at least it's battery, will power a light for quite a long time.

Ron, if I lived closer, I would have to come and check your claim on a slight excess of cinnamon :licking:

Speaking of blazing, this story came out yesterday, with photos showing even more heavily damaged power tower rings and hanger hooks than the photos I showed previously here. One ring is worn through entirely, and another hook is just barely intact.

Yikes, that must be a lawyers dream and a nightmare for everyone else.
You know how superstitious folk will cross the street rather than walk under a ladder, in your area they must be crossing the state to avoid passing under PGE power lines.

Billy, I would never try pull start 100 times. After about four pulls would check plug for gas then spark check if plug is wet. If plug is dry remove air cleaner and few drops of gas into intake or carb.

Mostly, you have to remember Billy is a bow hunter and they take every opportunity to build up those biceps. Bet he fills it with stale fuel on purpose and doesn't even flick the switch to "On" for the first 100 pulls

Poured first cup of coffee. 36° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 50° with rain and wind. Need to buy more apples and cinnamon. Yesterday dehydrating will not last long. Back to dentist today. Hygienist had to have six stitches in injured finger. No other plans. Hope that rain and wind knock down some of the leaves left on trees. Then I can get out and mulch them up. This will allow me to put snow blower on mower.
Been having a difference of opinion with Sassy. She has decided that doing #2 outside is not what she wants to do. At least she does do it in the mudroom. Looks like I will be taking her to a dog training class like Don took Whipper to. Maybe I need training?
Woke up this morning with front flood light on. Deer must be hungry. This one was chewing on Burning Bush. Michigan has banned all feeding of deer because of CWD.

Looking, I forgot about the anode rod. Have not check mine in years. I need to put it on the list.

David, like your solar/generator control upgrades. My mind has gone into retirement. So I have not been able to follow it completely. Keep the info coming. Nice truck.

RNG, sure hope they get the power maintenance problems in CA under control soon.

Wngsprd, I have had engines that would not start easily. Most could to started by removing plug and putting a cap full of gas down the hole. Unless plug was covered with fuel. Which usually means bad ignition/spark. I would never pull on a starter cord 100+ times. My arm would start screaming after 3 pulls.

LS, hope they come up with a plan for your knee soon.

Good Morning All.

32° and frosty, going to 50° sun up now.

Wind was chilly yesterday. Got the trim pieces to work on camper, but too chilly out. Today is PT, then bank run. That will waste the warmest part of the day.

I’ve been up since 5:30. Couldn’t get back to sleep.

I need seat time, my pellet box on porch is down to 1 bag that will go in stove tonight, need to fill the box.
