68°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 94° today. Probably another record high. Really looking forward to the Thursday cool down, and highs next week in the upper 60s.

BEF, the caps lock is accomplished by double tapping the shift. I've only had iPhones since the switch to "smart" phones, so no idea about Androids. I did play around with a Windows phone once (Wife had one for work), and found it unbelievably annoying.

Eric, our U.S. Constitution has a Bill of Rights, that gives protection to private property (5th Amendment), however it allows the government to take private land after just compensation for purposes of public use (eminent domain). Public use is generally used for roads, schools, etc, but has been stretched for many uses over the years, including where some cities have taken land with houses from their owners to give to other developers to build bigger houses or condo projects.

There was one particularly ridiculous case in New London, Connecticut back in '05 that made it to the Supreme Court (Kelo vs New London) where everyone lost. The city used eminent domain to displace an entire neighborhood in favor of a commercial development, based solely on the idea that they would net more tax revenue from commercial property than residential. To satisfy the "public use" clause, they said they would build roads and a small park. The city won the case. In the end, though, the developer backed out of the plan, and they ended up with pretty much nothing but a bunch of angry residents and a big empty lot.

My back continues to improve, chiropractor wants me to do some activity Thursday so if I have issues, she can fix it on Friday.

Still need to rehang and power wash the lattice up to the cottage. Need to go to PO later this morning. Time to straighten up the tractorshed.

Don- Thanks for the clarification, and BEF I apologize for the mis-direction. :embarrassed: Sometimes the ol' fingers move faster than the ol' brain.

I saw this scenario play itself out in a couple of longterm care settings. Once the disease driving the delirium subsides the mental status usually returns to previous functioning levels. One guy stated to me once he cleared: "This corpse is not even cold and the vultures (i.e. family members) are already circling overhead." . Luckily, things worked out for him.

I don’t understand the problem with photos. If I take a picture with my iPhone phone, it’s on my phone, tablets, laptop and desktop. I don’t have to do anything but look for it. It’s a setting that allows sharing among all my devices.
I suspect I’d have the same issues if I switched to Android.

And forget about trying to put the courser in the middle of a word to edit it can稚 do it. So I will have lots of misspelled words I can稚 edit.

Start by typing a text message (or email message) with the keyboard on your iPhone. Now just click and hold down the Space Bar. The keyboard will turn blank, and you'll now be able to move the Cursor in all directions by sliding your finger around (left, right, up and down).
