52 right now...high about 70 today.

The original plan was to drive up Mount Washington (Mount Washington Observatory | White Mountains, New Hampshire) today, but the weather isn't going to be that good...next year, I guess. If the women want to go somewhere (Kittery ME was suggested), we might do that....more likely, we'll just stay home

Chores, maybe...dump run is about it...

Practically grew up in Kittery. Finally left summer after Freshman year of High School when parents bought 110 acres in South Berwick. Fond memories of Kittery.

I just did a quick read through 5 pages of postings... man is this a fast thread.

About PVC Piping... how do you all cut it, Hacksaw or Tubing Cutter ?

Well, you are the scrambler!!

I cut pvc pipe with my miter saw.

Took power wheelchair out and watched the wife dig the last row of potatoes. Pathetic yield, less than half a bucket. The bought seed potatoes did very poorly. Good thing i planted my leftovers, those 2 rows yielded 3.5 buckets, the 2 rows of seed potatoes yielded just over a bucket.

71° and windy.sun just came out.

I would love to get into the tractor. Hardest part is opening the 10 ft door. Dont know if wife can open it.

Earlier i was able to walk into barn from the ranger, holding onto things as i went. Takes a lot out of me, and wife saying dont do it the whole time.

This is confusing, it isn't but it is if we manipulate the data?

"In fact, we found that frequent nappers had initially a higher risk for incident cardiovascular disease," said lead author Nadine Hausler, a postdoctoral researcher at University Hospital of Lausanne in Switzerland. "However, when we took sociodemographic, lifestyle, and cardiovascular risk factors into account, this increased risk disappeared."

I'll just bet my life on a plant based diet instead of frequency of naps.

Buckeye, you want to push it but your wife may be the smartest of them all.
Ask her, she'll tell you...;) Keep on progressing, what a struggle you are going through, and
nice to see you making progress. Sounds like I ought to swing up Toppop's way and help him out with a few things and then
swing on over to Maryland. Can your wife at least start up the engine?

I always figured I'd wind up in a power wheelchair, not that many years off.
Docs twenty years ago said I'd be in one in ten years. Thankfully they were wrong.
Bet they make pretty cool ones now.

lady friend came and helped me make the bed in rv. I measured and need a four foot by nine foot carpet that is flexible enough I can roll it up
but also as soft and plush as I can. If I can't luck out on internet where someone has one cut that size, a burgundy oriental would match the exterior...,
I'll head down to Chubby's carpet shop. Where i will find out if Chubby is actually a bit portly or perhaps has a sense of humor
and looks like Jack Spratt. Will look for remnant first he can bind.

sent rest of coffee cake home with Javier, he'll eat anything, and most of garden is now cleaned out. He told me we have quite a few melons left which were
hiding in the weeds and he cleaned things up. He knows next time he comes he'll take home a melon. I am so gardened out I'm glad he's here to
help, I am ready to wrap it up for the year. No fall plantings.

hope you all have a nice weekend, Ron keep enjoying life, all on the mend feel better.

We Report ...... You Decide.

I never have time for naps anyway.

btw I got a nice recognition at last garden club meeting for all the food grown for the food pantry.
this was after they got their birdhouse gourds, and I've brought a lot of stuff in there over the last two years.
In their own way, I think some of those ladies like having a man around. I got asked to be VP by current Pres and I declined.
She doesn't know I may be moving in a year or two. Just don't want to get into that discussion too early so thankfully declined and blamed
it on something.

I tried to load wheelchair in back of the power wheelchair, but to heavy for me to stand and lift. So drove to barn, walked in holding onto things, tried to lift the big door but not sure i can.. I was able to get up on the tractor step.

But, heard light rain on the roof and didnt want to take any chances..

Maybe I need a nap, heard they are good for you.
