I push with a hydrostatic 3038e, 6ft snow pusher. Set the rubber blade 3/8" above the shoes and it catches no gravel, dream to use.

No problem on stock R4's running 16 psi in the rears, and 750lbs 3pt Ballast.

You do any corners with that? I have two parking lots, and two driveways, and some other areas...95% of it is straight on, but there are two curves I'm worried about. Would prefer a push to a plow on the front in most scenarios.

Traded a Kubota L4240 towards a Kubota M7060. Trygg chains on the rear and grip studs on the front tires (2 per lug). Stepped up from a HLA 2000 7'6" plow to a HLA 3000 9' plow. Used to use a box blade or snowblower for additional counter balance. Have on order a Landpride RTB4596 rear blade for weight and to improve snow removal/snowbank set back. The base weight of the tractor is about 2000lbs more. Also the cab will be handy in the winter. There is a chance that it won't snow now.

Here is a pic of the tractor with plow (the hydraulics are hooked up since it is just being moved from one spot to another on the property):

I use a Land Pride SS1596 plow on the FEL of my L6060 with a Fressori cinder spreader on the 3 pt. I use cleated chains on the front only which gives me all the traction I need. On steep slopes I sometimes lift the FEL a bit to put more weight on the front tires giving the chains more bite.

For the deep stuff, I remove the spreader and put on the Woods SS74 blower.

How do you like the LP plow

How do you like the LP plow

I've used it 2 seasons so far and I like the way it performs. It seems more stable than the old Woods I used before.
The only complaint I have is the cheap orange plastic edge marker rods. They are too brittle and break easily. They are also $60 a set to replace. After breaking the second one, I switched to the much cheaper Western markers which are coated steel and much more flexible.

Sounds like an easy upgrade, thanks for the input!

I need the markers on my plow truck, but I can see the ssqa tractor plow very well from the cab.

Nothing beats a push going straight to a stockpile.

Corners you have to do a series of angled straight passes, or hover the push so its shoes are just off the ground to follow a contour.

That is also with a deere 3 family tractor, if i had a 4 family tractor i am pretty sure it would do contours without hovering.

If you mean corner, like in front of a garage door, its easy. You tip the push fully forward and it has a second rubber edge. I can clean right tight to anything.

Extremely happy with the push. Express Steel makes a very sturdy productive unit.

Reduced my fuel bill and time down over half vs a snow bucket on the 3acres I keep clear in winter.
