Our BX2660 had that problem, tubes or bead sealant are the only fixes. There were others about 10 years ago, (myself included), that had the front tires (turf tires) losing air on the BX models. It turned out to be the seating around the rim...right out of the dealers....brand new.. I fixed mine with some rim sealant that took care of the problem.
Cheers,
Mike
As said its very likely rim/bead leaks. ... You might be able to fix it without removing the tires:Hi All,
Had my BX2680 for about a year. I have turf tires all the way around, and use it mostly to mow with. I don't have a loader.
Seems every time I go to mow, the front tires are flat or need air. What gives?
Thanks
Dave :confused2:
I will say it again... TUBES... and be done with it.
Surprised the tubes didn't work! I wonder why since they are independent of a poor tire/rim seal. :confused3:Tried that. Didn’t work. Also tried filling in the front tires with this black goop. Can’t remember what it was, but the tire shop did it. Then, after a while I guess it ate through the sidewall of the tire, because both front tires blew and squirted that black poop all over the place. Finally just went out and bought a new set of tires on rims, and they explained that they are much better than the OEM tires. Haven’t had a problem since, so I guess the quality control problem has been solved.

That would be my only guess is damage to the stem but man I worked my FEL and front tires/axle hard with max loads, lots of turns and on slope and the tubes have performed perfectly. I don't even remember the last time I put air in my tires since tubing. Wait I remember... when I got them tubed a a few years ago!I have seen the smaller sized tires slip on the rims and break or tear out the valve stems.
That's true. I didn't bother with the slime on my BX... went straight to tubes. I have used slime on smaller pneumatic tires and once with a full size auto tire (emergency situation). Not a big fan for a long term fix. Just my :2cents:Tubes. Some tire shops wont touch them once you put Slime in them
