Need Help identifying problem

I was trying to lift a trailer with a ball hitch on my FEL. The weight was too much as it could not lift it.

Now, my backhoe stabilizers will go down, but not back up. The boom on the back hoe will not extend out and the bucket will not curl.

The FEL bucket will go up, but will not come down. I have to push the control stick into the Float mode to lower the FEL. I can curl the bucket up & down.

There seems to be a whining sound coming from under the seat that wasn't there before. It is a Kubota B7610

I can't find any leaks anywhere. Any ideas??

You possibly blew the internal piston O rings in the cylinder(s). I had that happen once with too heavy a load I tried to force.

This makes sense given that the relief valve likely operated when you tried to lift the trailer; but I wonder why some other cylinders still operate, or only operate in one direction now? Shouldn't all cylinders not operate in all directions if system is in relief?

Yes. Look for an unseated Hyd connector.

I want to thank everyone for chiming in. Especially wdchyd!!. That was the problem. The 3PH was in the Full Raise position. Once I took it out, everything worked!
I have not had a chance to address the issue since I last posted. I finally had some time to go look at the tractor tonight. If I couldn't figure it out, I was calling the dealer.

Glad it worked out, I’ve coached a few guys to intentionally engage the 3PH in extreme on new tractors to recognize the symptoms for the future. Ironically the first time I ran into this was a customer from Wolfeboro NH, after he pulled the control valve and all the cyls off for rebuilding I had to drive up there to show him how easy a fix. Unfortunately the customer sent it to a repair shop up there and they they didn’t check the easy stuff. The KISS rule should always be first (keep it simple stupid)

Have had same issue on my MX for the 2-3 years I have owned it. IF you full raise it normally, 99% of the time it isnt a problem. But if you are a little "quick and forceful" when raising, it does it 99% of the time.

In a quiet area and tractor idled down, you can hear it plain as day. But with tractor wound up and other stuff running, it isnt as obvious.

After 2-3 years, I just got some time this past weekend to make the 2 minute fix.....adjusting the feed-back linkage just a tad.

true, sometimes the squeal of relief valve can be hidden over engine. OTOH I’ve used that blow-over-relief-valve 3PH intentionally during the frigid months to warm up the hyd oil while idling for 15 mins or so before up to speed. It works great.
